Clintons Tagteam North Carolina Undecideds; Little Sign Of Obama

Just for starters, off the bus is written by all journalists for free or for very little pay. It is basically a all volunteer group of young journalists who want to break into that field. They are all learning the trade so to speak. But you Obama fans really know how to knock a person down and kick them hard when they do not do anything to your likeing. This has got to be the meanest, cruelist, hateful, disgusting bunch of comments ever put forward on this blog and makes me ashamed that you call yourselves democrats. There was a time I was proud to be a democrat. It meant fairness to all. That sure is not the case here. People look what is written here and tell me that you can hold you head up and be proud of the comments made here today to someone who tried to do a good journalist work. This has got to come from our educated group who support Obama and enjoy tearing someone else to shreds who dare have a view of her own. No wonder; I think they have shut down this site. The comments are the most vile things I have ever read. Grow up people and start treating people the way you want them to treat you; maybe then we will have a better site and a discussion not a linching for a young woman who is just trying to do her job.. posted 05/05/2008 at 16:35:33
You and many others on this site are fine examples of why the media and many people say that the Obama fans are fanatics. If by chance a journalist dare write what they truely feel, you cut them up to shreds if they are not comments about your candidate. This is wrong. The media has to cover all candidates and not show a preference in reality; but they often do. They are to report on what they see what they hear and we are then suppose to make up our own minds on the subject. That would be true journalism but it is not practiced much on this site. It mostly is one sided.
We should treat each candidate to the same standards and let the chips fall where they may. We after all are suppose to have a democracy. And being such we can write any outrageous comments we want, we don't have to prove what we write is true. Heck why bother? Most of us are not journalists and held to a better standard. But many of us say things that are hurtful to a young journalist who is only trying to do the best job she can. Great work people! posted 05/05/2008 at 15:50:32

Clinton Adviser Claims Indiana Slur Video Is Conspiracy

How can you make the statements you made? Are you for real? Do you read the papers? I read the LA times, the Washington post, New York times, and check out several others if time permits. I never see pro Hillary articles. I see everything pro Obama. And please just look at Huffington, never had I seen one article that was pro Clinton. All you see is Obama. Just for you I'll leave an article for you to read. Written by a friend it's titled "Obama and Me".

Qestion: Why is it that only negative comments are put through? Is this the way Huffington wants to run things?? Print negative stories, lies and when someone wants to comment on them, if it is not to their liking it does not go thu. So far this is my third post. I'm still waiting fo the other 2 to show up. What will the chances be?????? Fair and un biased????? Please don't ever complain about Fox when you people are doing the same thing.

Pleas tell me that you do not really believe that. Why is it that when confronted with the truth you people still insist that it's wrong. I've read many stories on David Axlerod and on how Obama work when trying to win, and this is right up their field of expertise. Tell me, what will you do when you finally find out it was the Obama camp behing this all the time because they wanted a win for Obama and it was going the other way in Indiana??? What kind of excuse will you use and spin then???? posted 05/02/2008 at 17:44:19
I cannot believe that these people have even read the article. How can they make the stupid remarks that they are making and claim to have read it??? This is the Obama fans mentality. Read nothing but comment and keep the lie going. The man never said the words you people are saying that he did. It was fixed, it is done all the time in the movies and people who work in the industry. It must have been an Obama supporter who put in those words and then sent it out to the fanatics who believe every word and even when confronted with the truth that it was altered, they still don't believe. What does a person have to do to get thru to these people who are bent on their own truth, (which happens to be the lie) People please read the article and listen to the truth: the film was altered, now I ask who did it???? So close to the election???? Had to be an Obama fanatic. They love spreading lies, hate the truth. But the truth did come out. posted 05/02/2008 at 17:13:21
Do you people even read what you are writing??? I think not, not when you make silly comments like that one. Really that kind of comment is not good for the party. It only angers the opposite side to the extent that they will not vote for any other candidate except their own. Is that what you want???? Grow up and make a realistic commet on the article above. Why must you Obama fans continually trash when you don't know the truth; and when you do know the truth you reject it as another lie. Really sound thinking on your part. Not! posted 05/02/2008 at 16:56:03
And why do I believe that it was an Obama fan or campaign people that did this. They constantly lie and spin no matter what comes out. They would not know the truth if it would bite them. They prefer to listen to lies and further the lies when confronted with the truth. How many times has this happened on this blog? What will they think of next? posted 05/02/2008 at 16:50:46

Obama closing in on Clinton's advantage among superdelegates

I thought the idea behind super delegates was that they were not to vote until the convention so that in case we picked a candidate that could not win in the general election the super delegates to put in whomever they felt had the best chance of winning. For a while now I had the feeling that the media was picking our candidate for us and were picking someone whom they felt they could beat. It seems that the media knew all along about Obama's minister and they never came out with it until he is almost our candidate. I ask why??? Found two interesting articles. One tackles this subject, so I am not the only person to think so. What bothers me now is, what can we do at this late stage except watch our chances of the white house go up in smoke again.

Kerry Rips MSNBC On Wright: 'You People Need To Let Go Of This'

The sad truth is that this is not going to go away just because Kerry has said move on to other things. This is here to stay and we better get used to it. Rev. Wright is news and will be news for awhile because now they will want to ask everyone that same question. Plus all you need is another interview with the Rev. and we're off again. I think athe minister rather enjoyed being in the lime light. We all seem to forget how the swift boaters were, they kept at it, kept hammering away with their spots in every state and I fear that will be the case here too. I beg to differ with you. 10 years ago, Bush decided to go the college circut. He won them over by touting his tax cuts. My neices were for Bush. He's for us keeping our own money, he was a regular guy,not a politican. All the younger people on his side; much like Obama is doing now. They got behind him and everyone followed; press thought he was a regualr guy who they might have a beer with. Many might be too young to remember. It blew my mind that so many could be turned on by his lies and inexperience. He won; I lost. Again I thought no way Bush could win against a war hero, he didn't even fufill his duties stateside. Lost again. Now another election; the young latched onto a candidate and see the same thing happening . We got taken in twice and I feel we are in for another fall. The youth are idealistic and that is good but they fail to see the whole picture. I think they are in for a rude awakening and I don't want to be a part of it. I'm tired of loosing to people who have no experience. All too often they are spinning an article about him to make it turn out the way they want it; that is not the way real life is I am sorry to say. posted 05/01/2008 at 11:21:54

Obama Endorsement Becomes Toxic For Mississippi Democrat

From everything that I've read the republicans are doing the same thing in several states. They figure this is a sure thing for them. They are also putting in some new people who have never run before so that they do not have a record on which we can get them on. Clever of them. Who ever said that the republicans play fair? I honestly believe that they wanted Obama to be our candidate because of the way the treated him in the debates. Don't you remember how Russert and Williams went after Clinton??? I also read that they all knew about the minister, it's funny it never came out until he is almost our candidate and then all ----breaks loose. Too much of a coincidence to suit me. I think we've been had all along. posted 04/30/2008 at 19:24:58

Senator: Obama Has Dozens Of Secret Superdelegates Lined Up

If you think this nonsense will be gone because we want it to, you're sadly mistaken. We all know how the republicans play. They know they have a great story now, they'll hang on to it. Since Obama said on Fox that bringing up what his minister has said if fair game. They got him right where they wanted him. First thing McCain said was that they would surely take that into account. Reasons for not going away, 1) Rev. Wright has said that Obama says what he does because it is the political thing he has to do. ( Thus implying that he is lying to save his presidency) 2) he stayed in a church where he did not agree with the minister for 20 years. Some still wonder why? He had a chance to talk to the minister and change his views but choose not too. Now he tells us that he can unite us, why didn't he try with his minister? 3) He lied when he said he didn't hear the hate American sermon. His press and his secret service where with him and wanted a comment from him on his minister and his sermon, they got none even though they knew he was planning on doing an article about it. He then gave his race speech in Pa. 4) he withdrew his invitation to his minister to be with him when he announced his bid for the presidency; he knew then he was a problem. posted 04/30/2008 at 18:53:23

Obama's Reverend Wright Press Conference (VIDEO)

Who in their right mind would run for this office. The press is brutal, the blogs are brutal. Al Gore is smart not to want to go through that again. We the people can be the roughest of them all. Just read the blogs here everyday. You must be a real confident person in your own right to put up with all the nonsense that goes with it. posted 04/29/2008 at 18:24:14
I agree with you. But the bigger question will be why did he stay in the church for 20 years. He himself said he heard many things that he did not agree with. They both talked during the campaign and he told Obama that at some point he may have to part ways, in other words disown him. Now he has done that but because he said the minister was fair game in the politics of winning he has now to face questions again and again about why he stayed. This will not go away. If anything it may get worse. You all seem to forget the republicans play dirty. Also some church members may be upset with him now. He was put in a bad situation and he will have a rought time of it because many feel that he should have left his church years ago. posted 04/29/2008 at 18:19:21

Rev. Jeremiah Wright's Media Blitz Forces Barack Obama to Face the Angry Black Man Test -- Again

The one thing no one has considered is: The media wanted to see a Clinton and Obama match up. They really gave little or no attention to the other great candidates that we had. They trashed Clinton daily, got many of us to trash her too, now they have Obama almost elected our candidate for the democratic convention. In the last 6 to 8 weeks all havic broke loose. The press knew all along about Rev. Wright and never mentioned or asked questions about him. Obama's bitter statement. With his pastor coming out he is the news again and the press are loving this because some of his statements are off the wall. Both of our candidates have been hit by the press and this makes an easier road for the republicans. (Could this have been their plan?) They had a terrible field of candidates, now they have one and maybe they thought that this way they could get him elected. Many people are going to be turned off Obama because of his minister's statements. We here have trashed Hillary so tell me how are we going to get to the white house???? I honestly think that if Obama is chosen, he will not be able to win the general election. His baggage now is far worst than Clinton's. By the way, this is an artlcle checking both their records in the senate. Keep seeing how Clinton's is so bad. Not!

The media are the ones who wanted the race between Clinton and Obama and I think that the repulicans to some extent are pushing for an Obama winner, because they think they can defeat him. Why else were so many republicans for Obama. Tilm Russert, Brian Williams, Chris Matthews, David Broder, George Wills, Willam Kristol. and Karl Rove who wrote an op ed page telling Obama how he could beat Hillary. Now if you will look they are in McCains court and are singing his praises over any of our two remaining candidates. They say he has the best record of experience than ours, he was a war hero and suffered for us when he was captured. That he has done more for this country when called upon than any other of our candidates. Even in the debates, they asked more questions of Hillary and Obama. We are almost assured of an Obama victory and now they write about his minister, something they knew about long time ago. I ask why???? Dribs and drabs of stories are coming out daily about things that should have been brought to light long ago but did not. That is our great press at work. They ignored many good men with outstanding records. I agree with Elizabeth. posted 04/27/2008 at 19:59:52

During a week of nonstop coverage, few journalists went beyond the irresistible video footage to ask .... how Mrs. Clinton might have erred in the details about the landing in Tuzla. ......

We flew in a C-17 cargo plane .... precisely because it was capable of steep descents and ascents into and out of areas of conflict. We were issued flak jackets ...and were told the tarmac ceremony might be canceled .... due to sniper fire from the surrounding hillsides. ....

In a recent e-mail message to a British blogger, Ejup Ganic, who was the acting president of Bosnia during Mrs. Clinton"s visit, wrote: "I remember that visit quite well. ...., we still believed that some positions on the hills were occupied by radical Serbs, so I was worried about the overall safety." Why after the election are they all beating the drums for McCain. Even the newspaper is now endorsing McCain because they say he has the most experience of all candidates. Painting him as a great war hero captured by the enemy and who never gave up. While the media kept piling on Clinton not one democrat said anything but cheers came from the Obama fans. Now he is the front runner and the press in looking into things that should have been checked long ago and it is upsetting to some. You have to be able to handle the good and the bad you just can't cave in and cry foul. They do this to all the candidates. Some take in on the chin, others cry about it. We have to be realistic about our chances with either candidate and not trash either, in the end, we loose by our own words we put here. Here are two adds put out by the republicans, one is on Politico and the other is in LA times this morning. They are going to play rough and I think it will get even rougher.

I feel for you peggio, but you had to know this would eventually happen. Senator Obama has been given a free pass from the press and the talking heads at the debates except for the last one here in Pa. People got upset that they asked hard questions, but the truth is that the people from Pa. wanted some of the answers to these questions. If you think he is given a hard time now, wait til he is the candidate and see what happens in the run up to the elections. The republicans will not be as easy as some of us democrats are, in fact this was in the LA times this morning. Republican ads against Obama and this is just a small portion of what they will do.

I've said this befoe, we better start talking issues and stop trashing any of our two remaining candidates. All we end up doing is giving the republican party stuff they can use. Look at things realistically, we want a democrat in the white house and if you are honest you will have to admit that the republicans gave Obama a free pass at the debates and grilled Hillary . example: Tim Russert and Brian Williams. They wanted to have Obama as our candidate; they knew they could beat him. They knew of Rev. Wright in the beginning and this other stuff that is now coming out because he is the front runner. Think back, Chris Matthews, David Broder, William Kristol, Tim Russert, Brian Williams plus a few others all talked favorably about Obama. I ask you why??? My brother in law a republican said they wanted Obama as our candidate because they know they can beat him. They have tried fory years to beat Hillary and she keeps beating them at their own game. She is a fighter! I found this in LA times this morning; republicans ads against Obama. This is just a start I'm sure.

Clinton Bulldog Rahm Emanuel Tilting Toward Obama?

I have a new flash for you. Both candidates have said that the other one can't win. They are both trying to get the highest office in our country, of course they will both try to make their case as the strongest candidate. This is the way elections work. It is however now for them to make the case to us the people so that we can deside which one is the better candidate. Which one can pull off a win for us and get us to the white house.. Excerpts from Rev. Jeremiah Wright Interview with Bill Moyers

Why do you all feel like you have to spin what was in the article to twist it so that it might make sense to some of us??? Trouble is, it doesn't. The minister is correct when he says that Obama says what he says as a politican. You just will not face the facts when it is told to you. The reason Obama made his speech is that he mentioned he didn't hear one of the worst statements of Rev. Wright's, when in fact he did; his press and his secret service were there and the journalist called his campaign headquarters and wanted the Obama to comment on what he had heard. They gave him a no comment answer, but the next day senator Obama made his famous race speech to save his presidency. Too much of a coincidence, the no comment and the speech the next day. The Rev. is right, he said what he had to say as a politican, we have to accept that. posted 04/24/2008 at 21:36:12

No, you weren't listening to what many of us have said. Why do you think so republicans were for Obama? Why do you think the republican monorators did not ask tough questions of Obama but grilled Hillary and made it easy for Obama to hit her in the debates?? They think they can beat him. Some of us fell for it hock, line and sinker. Even in Pa. there were some republican journalists and talk show people that thought that Obama should be the democratic choice. Now election is over and they are once again in McCains court. They picked our candidate for us or at least they almost have. We have several states to vote yet.
Now our paper is endorsing McCain because of his great experience, better than our two candidates. They constantly are talking about what a great war hero he was. My brother in law is thrilled that Obama looks like he might make it. If that happens he the democrats will have their third loss at the white house. posted 04/24/2008 at 20:44:19
One thing we are forgetting here is that for 20 years the senator sat in his pew and listened, that has to rub off on you after a time. No wonder Michelle has said that for the first time in her entire adult life she was proud of her country. WORDS ARE IMPORTANT! The minister's wprds must have registered; why else would Michelle say that for the first time in her adult life she was proud of her country. And please, don't make excuses. . It also would follow that Obama would not wear a flag on his suit. Why would he, his minister has commented on the corrupt foreign policy of our country? When you bring the minister and his sermons in the equation, it can give the republicans all kinds of fodder in which to kill his presidential hope and our chance at the white house. Like it or not, I do not think that he will be able to win the general election for us.

With Kerry, Kerry's wife, Casey, congressman Murphy all on the Obama bus curcit, with 3 to 1 ads on tv, millions spent, he could not win our state. (Pa.) It means that no matter who you have in your corner, how many millions you spend, it will not get you elected. The problem is we fail to recogize this fact. posted 04/24/2008 at 20:10:17

They are going to use all the trash that the Obama fans dish out hourly on this site against Clinton. Plus all the negative comments Obama has made against Clinton. We have two candidates left and we are doing a great job of trashing each. I do not do so and do not condone it. When has this site ever had a positive article on Hillary? Never. All the positive articles here for Obama end up trashing Hillary. Where does that get us as democrats??? We get so angry at the others that trash that we will in the end be a divided party because some of us have gone off the deep end in our remarks and angered the persons supporters to the extent that they will not vote for the other person or will not vote at all. Where does that leave us???? This site is toxic, it is full of hate, trash, and distortions galore and in the end, I think this site will loose because of the way they are handling this presidential campaign. You do not trash one of the two democrats left standing. She could have supported Obama and been fair to each. Not one sided like it is. She could have made a killing with her book if she were objective and reported all issues correctly and not biased to one. No matter which church does this type of thing it does not make it right. I would walk out of this church and pick another one. We do not need this when we go to pray and visit with the Lord. One can pick our minister, we can walk away from something that we do not agree with them on. That is the reason I fault Obama for not doing that and staying for 20 years, by so doing he gave acceptance to what his minister was saying. This is a big one for me, because I don't like the idea of his young children listening to how we here in America created the aids virus to get rid of the blacks. I'm in Pa. it amazes me how much spin this site has to constantly do for senator Obama. Now for facts. The good senator had a lot of help with many important people calling all democrats to vote for Obama. Kerry got Casey and someone else to make his bus trip with him. Kerrys' wife worked with him and Michelle here because her husband was a beloved person in this area. I got e-mail the day before from Kerry, Casey and others reminding me to vote for Obama and how he will bring us together. With big names and big money he has poured here to win the knock out punch they all hoped for it just didn't come out that way.
And I want to comment on a ad that Hillary made about Osma that everyone is upset about. Never saw it, everyone I talked to never saw it. All her ads in the end were about the destruction of our economy by the Bush administration.
In the end, this site is responsible for Hillary's win. How??? Well everyone I talked to told others about how this site had Hillary's and McCains' face together and the article with it. In fact all the negative articles and comments here pushed them to get out the vote in Pa. for Hillary. Keep up the good work guys! Negative comments and article sometimes back fire and do not get the results one wants. posted 04/23/2008 at 13:40:18

Hillary Clinton Ad Features Osama Bin Laden: Campaign AdWatch

Thanks but a lot of us in Pa. already know what a great person senator Clinton is and all the good works she has done in her lifetime. Hillary tomorrow is going to be your day!!!!!
Millions have been spent but they do not produce the results that they wanted. It will be just like the besults in Ohio.
I bet if the earlier voters knew about the good Rev. saying that we created the aids virus to kill blacks, and his hate whites sermons earlier in the campaign, Obama would not have the wins that he has now. People are upset by some of the comments and his staying in the church for 20 years, seems to imply that he agreed with the ministers' sermons. posted 04/21/2008 at 18:11:45
I am also from Pa. and I will have to say that I am a part of the older generation, who happen to read a lot. Not just here in Obama country. Where they have all pro Obama and all negative Clinton articles. Yes, it pays to be smart and to look and read not be hand feed a pile of lies and inuendos about the opposite candidate. I will vote for Hillary tomorrow because she helped years ago and worked to see that the handicapped children were admitted into the public school system. Years ago they were not allowed there as the other older person probably knows. Clinton has for years worked hard for children's and women's projects and you people just know how to trash a good person. How much good have any of you done in your life time?????? She also worked to find safe homes for battered and abused children. Does any of this register with you people who trash and do nothing but sit in judgement of someone who you really do not know???? Grow up! We have two candidates left and to trash one of them is a terrible unjustice to the hard work any of them have done in there life time. posted 04/21/2008 at 18:05:59

Obama Outspending Clinton 2.3 to 1 In Pennsylvania Ad Buys

I think your imagination is in overdrive. Lord, now I have heard all. First, I read an article that said that there were many journalists who knew in the very beginning of the campaign about Rev. Wright. Many thought they owed it to the public to come out with it when they did. But you know what If I were writing a book, for selling qualities, I like your ideas better. posted 04/21/2008 at 17:31:12
Don't make excuses. I am a Clinton supporter and I a Pennsylvanian. ( I think the numbers are wrong. We watch 4-5 Obama ads to 1 of Clinton's.) He should win with all the money he poured here. We watch Obama ads all day.
Picked Hillary because she worked on many childrens projects in her early years after graduating law school. Didn't go after big money jobs. She and a group interviewed parents of handicapped children finding out what would serve them most. Boring, statistical work, a lot of pounding the pavement but it payed off. Handicapped children got into the public school system. Wasn't done years ago. Today you see them in the schools, mainstreamed with other children; it was accomplished by dedicated people who worked to provide handicapped the same opportunties as other students.
My daughter was one who benifited from this and I applaud all her good works for children and women's causes. Not because of her name recognition like you suggest. She also worked to find safe homes for battered and abused children. As the governors wife and the president's wife and today she she works for childrens' and womens' causes. She's a great fighter but we give little credit to her accomplishments. Tomorrow I will vote and in my own special way say thanks Hillary for caring for the less fortunate of God's children. Thank you from an appreciative mother. posted 04/21/2008 at 17:12:37

The ABC Debate: A Shameful Night for the U.S. Media

The media has been setting up this win for McCain and we were too dumb to see it. They wanted Obama all the time. Never questioned Biden ignored several of our other outstanding candidates for the job. They wanted to see Hillary and Obama with Obama winning the democratic slot. They knew they would have an easy win if that was the case. Why else were so many republicans singing Obama praises? Chris Matthews, David Broder, Willam Kristol, Brian Williams plus others. I noticed now that in my area the republicans journalists are all out for McCain. You might have noticed too. All of a sudden from these same people you see a change and I ask why????? Funny thing is our paper went out for Obama. Now I see they are endorsing senator McCain because get this, he is the one with the most and best experience to win. I wanted to vomit when I saw that! I think we are heading for another loss if we go with Obama, he has too much really bad baggage now. And it is his relationship with people who have said after 9/11 that they wished that more had died??????? Never heard that before last night's debate. What else do we not know of Obama and his supporters?? This man hosted an event to support him??? How much money did they collect and who else was in attendence. I'll bet the republicans can answer that one. We will be doomed again!!!!!!! posted 04/17/2008 at 13:59:57
Here in Pa. all said Clinton was the winner. Surprise, interviewed college students that were for Obama switched to Clinton after the debate; all said Clinton won and they changed their minds after hearing her proposels. In the end, it's what we say here and last night the comment was a clear win for Hillary. Didn't write this I wish I had know;
That was a clever attempt by Obama, which he should have been called out on, by the moderators, when he attempted to distance himself from Ayers by saying he was only eight years old when Ayers and the Weatherman Underground were attempting to overthrow the U.S. government by bombing buildings. Obama was not 8 years old when Ayers was hosting a campaign event for him in his home. He was not 8 years old when Ayers on 9/11 was saying he was sorry that his group had not bombed more buildings (sounds like a reformed terrorist to me, not!). And, he was not 8 years old when he served on the board of the Woods Foundation which allocated grants to the Arab-American Action Network, which is both radical and has terrorists ties. Obama supporters are trying to throw a red flag on this debate because it exposed just a few of the radical, left of left ties of Obama. But those ties will not evaporate and the Republicans, if he becomes the nominee, will make them well known and Americans will soundly reject Obama. posted 04/17/2008 at 13:33:25

Clinton emphatically says Obama can win White House

Wrong! I plan to vote for Hillary. The questions that were asked should have been asked in some of the beginning debates, they were all things that the republicans will bring up later. Found this on Politico if you would like to see what the republicans are capable of towards Obama.

Obama: Hillary, McCain Using "Very Same Words" Against Me

Just wondering. Lately I've been thinking that if I were a republican and I wanted to make sure they would win. I'd have a site in which I could apear to sponsor one and constantly hit the other. Thus dividing the democrats, which is happening on this site right now. How many of the Obama fans are upset with Clinton fans and vice versa? I rest my case. This is a great way to divide and conquer. I know I am disgusted with many of the posts and I've heard many people say the same and some do not even plan to vote because of all the hatred inside their own party. People, we will blow this election all by ourselves if we do not tone down some of the trash we've been putting out there. posted 04/15/2008 at 17:02:33
Funny I was thinking just the opposite. When senator Obama looses to McCain and the republicans once again beat us we will have someone to blame this time. Huffington post and the Obama fans that failed to see the baggage he will be bringing in. Punch up and see just a little
of what is in store for us with him. Now the republicans are putting a war chest together for
McCain of $120 million dollars. I bet all we will see is Rev. Wright's sermons. Oh greate!

Clinton is fair game for Obama and for everyone else, I am trying to fingure out why this site hates Hillary so much. Never did I see any artilcles for her only all against her. Why????? Why are we trashing the only two candidates left????? What is the agenda of this site????? You can say that this site is definately not fair and possitive to both. But why???? Obama Would "Immediately Review" Potential Of Crimes In Bush White House

Apparently you do not know too much of how the system works. First, in order to do what we really want to do we do need more democrats and that will happen in 08'. We do not have the 60 votes needed to do the things that we wanted. That is because the remaining republicans were too scared to vote against their commander in chief. Let's see what will happen after the next election. This administration will go down as the worst in our history, thanks to your party! But unlike some of the other posters here, I predict that Hillary Clinton will take the helm and show you people how things will change under a democratic government that is going to be for all Americans; not just the corportate and upper 1 percent of the nation. posted 04/15/2008 at 11:57:02

People, for the last time we are not angry over the word bitter. It is that he has said that we are clinging to our guns and religion because of our bitterness. We do not cling to our religion. It is a part of us just like breathing. Don't try to justify his remarks by spinning, it just makes things worst. Religion is something that is very personal to all of us and to say that we cling to it in bad times is wrong. It is a part of our being in good and bad time. But PLEASE do not say that we cling to it in bad times. This is wrong! Do you not understand what I am trying to say???? It is like saying that the only times we look toward God is when we are in trouble. People think about what you are posting. It is senator Obama's duty to tell us what he ment, but now I don't know what I will believe. I think an apology would be the best way to handle it and let the people move on. Believe me, this just makes the bad situation worst. posted 04/14/2008 at 14:02:03
I think if they do not like what you post they do not put it up. So far checked three pages and my comment is not on any of them.
I'm from Pa. I will say again that everyone is making a fuss about the word bitter. We here in Pa. are upset with the words clinging to their guns and religion etc. etc. We find that very upsetting because we do not cling to our religion. We embrace our faith, it is a part of our being, like breathing. We are a state that was founded on freedom of religion and we are proud of our faith in God. We are also know in my parts as the city of brotherly love. Love for all, not just one race. And no hatred towards any race, unlike senator Obama's pastor Wright. When all of you try to spin the senators' words, it does not help the situation it makes it worst. Many of us feel that he owes us an apology. Let's see if this statement will make it for you all to see just how some of us are hurt by his comments and then yours by trying to justify them which is not your responsibilty but his.
Makes me wonder if when president he mis speakes to foreign leaders who will then bail him out????? Jut a thought!!!!!!!! posted 04/14/2008 at 13:51:21
I'm from Pa. and you are right about your comment. They focus on the part of being bitter but we here heard the comment the way it was said; clinging to guns, religion etc. Well Pa. was founded by a religious group and religion plays a very important part in each of our lives here. It is something that you do and embrace just as you breathe, it is a part of our being; not because we are bitter about anything. His statement has angered a lot of people and by the people trying to jusify his remarks and spin them into something they think he ment makes it all the worst. He should apologize for what he has said. I think that with that statement, he has just sealed his fate in the presidential race. Many people will now look at other things he has said and done. And we are in in Pa. expeciall his association with his pastor for 20 years without saying a word. How does he think he can help when he couldn't even confront his own pastor on issues of hate whites and other hateful comments such as God dam America????? posted 04/14/2008 at 13:29:39

Hillary Clinton Support Among White Women Slipping In Pennsylvania

Don't want to disappoint you but not all of us in Pa. think he is right on the money. I live in Pa. and today that is all the talk in our state. Many are angry and think he is trying to do damage control with his words that are suppose to be his greatest asset. Not by his comments about us. Radio talk, newspapers, they are all full of the Obama gaffe. Let's see what happens in the next week or so with his numbers here. He has a four to one ad campaign going here on tv and radio. We have him all day and night, believe me if he doesn't win my state with all the money he has spent here he will never have a shot in the general election. No way would he be able to win the states that we must have on our side to win the white house. It is great to hope, but hope only goes so far and reality has to set in for us all. posted 04/14/2008 at 00:58:38

Clinton Becomes A Gun Lover

Very funny. I live in Pa. and we take our hunting, fishing and church going very seriously. It is not because we feel bitter about anything. We are a proud state and it was founded by religious people and religion is still strong here, we take pride and have great family values and in case you haven't heard were are known here for our brotherly love for all people. And I will tell you many are upset by senator Obama careless remarks. Do we like the way our government is heading? NO! But it's been on the wrong track now for almost 8 years and we aim to fix that come November. We want to see senator Clinton in the white house. Right now I think he's done, his remarks are the kiss of death to his campaign. And then, we have the Obama fans that trash the Clintons' and are making sure that we get so bitter, oh, oh, there goes that word again! that some of us will deside not to vote at all if he somehow gets our nomination. AS staff members who traveled with the first lady, Hillary Rodham Clinton, to Bosnia in March 1996, we have followed with more than passing interest the extensive news coverage of her landing in Tuzla. .

Clinton"s visit, wrote: "I remember that visit quite well. ...., we still believed that some positions on the hills were occupied by radical Serbs, so I was worried about the overall safety." The planned welcoming ceremony was shortened, he said, but it still lasted a bit longer than expected because a non government group brought along a little girl to sing to the president's wife. posted 04/14/2008 at 00:11:14

The reason you see a difference in the same post is that Huffington has taken poetic license with Ms. Flowers work. They added on, they changed the picture from what I read in her post earlier today. Seems like when these people who work for almost nothing send in their work, it must fit a certain pattern and if not they enhanse it to do just that. Or at least that is what I had gathered from her post.
Never knew that they were not true journalists but people from all types of backgrounds working for Huffington for articles Off the Bus, some on a volunteer basis. I believe every one is entitled to their opinion and their favorites but I also believe that the only way to have a truly worth while blog is to be fair and balanced in all reporting. That can't be said here, because we all know that is not true. Very disappointed in that fact. I love to see women achieve and I love when people play fair on all sides, sort of taking the high road. posted 04/12/2008 at 23:22:19

Tavis Smiley Reportedly Quits Radio Show Over Obama Hate

Funny thing is, I can understand were this guy is coming from. When you like and respect someone it is very difficult when someone else doesn't see things the same way you do. I never believed in trashing a candidate, I read a lot and try to look up their records and comment on what I've read or post the article but some of the comments here are so hurtful and so vicious that I do find it hard to try to reason out some of their hatred. I tried to tell why I chose Hillary and asked what they liked most of what their candidate did; but in the end all you see are hateful comments about her daughter and husband. She is the one running for the positon. She worked on many childrens' projects after graduating from law school, one was getting the handicapped into the public school system. This was not allowed years ago. My daughter was one that benifited from this one and I will always be thankful. She has worked hard on many chilrens' projects and womens' and a lot of people just overlook what good works she has done. Yes, I know just how this man feels. Obama: I Would Have Fired Mark Penn

A better question is, why is the Obama campaign people and Obama meeting with his big money bundlers and letting them have a say in his campaign? What say will they have in his presidency?? ? What are they promised? They have some things that he can help with once in the office. He is the one with the biggest big money bundlers and I wonder what they want in return?

What else can they say? You seem to forget the way this story came out was a meno that was sent through some of the people that were present and reported about it to the others. It was reported in Canada first, it was not brought out by the Clintons's I remember reading the article on it. You people do have a way of twisting things. Also another thing that came out at the same time was the woman on his staff that made a comment on Canadian tv that they should disregard what Obama is saying it is all for political reasons that he makes some of the comments he does. The woman was not fired because she called Hillary a bit__ , it was because she said the truth and they did not want that out. He says what he thinks we want to hear, that is it in a nut shell. Well you certainlly live up to your name, I'll give you that. Her supporters read a lot and do not make crule statements against the other candidate but use facts to back up what they say instead of inuendo. Senator Obama says he gets most of his money from the average person. Not! We seem to forget he and his head campaign manager come from Chicago where they play dirty. David Axelrod knows all the tricks and you all fall for his line. Read this article please. He is just like any other candidate but they know how to work the people better. Comes from years of experience in Chicago I guess. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24060056/ One question he has to answer is how he intends to pay back some of the BIG MONEY BUNDLERS who made sure he got all the millions he needs to win. If money can win he has the nomination. Unfortunately it will not get him the general election and we will loose another one, because it is you not the Hillary supporters who are extremely dumb and hupocritical as you say we are. posted 04/11/2008 at 12:30:21

I found his add on the oil companies very misleading. I happen to read a lot and knew it was against the law for any person running for office to accept money from them. Besides, Obama does not need your help, he has flooded the airways and tv screens with wall to wall adds. Believe me if he doesn't win this state it is not because he didn't pour enough money in it. Here is an article that you might enjoy reading. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24060056/ On the radio awhile ago, they announced that 40,000 republicans switched to democrat to vote for Obama, not because they liked him but because they feel that he will be the easiest of the two remaining to beat! All are so certain it's Hillary with the baggage they think it is Obama. They are saying that McCain is beating Obama in the national polls. Much is because of his pastor, Republicans have a video out of Obama and his lies, etc. Check Politico for it.
I'll also add, many Hillary supporters are upset because of the trashing of their candidate by Obama fans and many commments about her daughter that were disgusting to say the least. You as a group hurt him the most! posted 04/11/2008 at 11:56:51

But boy you see clearly what you would have done in Clinton's situation. Sorry senator, actions speak louder than your words. But wait, I just read this article where your money come from large big money people not just the average small donations. That your campaign meets with these bundles and makes them feel that they have a big say in the senator's campaign. And that he sometimes is there too. Wonder what he has promised them when he is president? This is most interesting and I want to see what you are going to say to your campaign managers about the large money bundlers and just what they are promised. Also helping him is a radio annoucement some time back about 40,000 repubicans switching to democrat to be able to vote for him. In our state you must be a register democrat to vote for a democrat unlike the other states. It's not because they like Obama, they believe they can win him easily and make our state, red not blue.
This site is so one sided against a young woman who has done nothing that I was curious to see if they would post a nice story about Chelsea Clinton, they haven't. I think it a crime the way the Obama fans trash this young woman. But in the interest of fair play I will post a nice article about a young woman who did not and does not deserve to be trashed by some young pranksters who think they are so clever by some of the things they posted on here yesterday.

Clinton Camp: It's A Miracle We're Not Behind In Pennsylvania

Living in Pa. I can tell you that Obama's adds started way before Clinton had her first one in. Also I'd say that it is more like four to one. He really has sunk a lot of money in this one. If money can win he has this beat by a mile. In our state you have to be a democrat to vote, it's not like the other states. On the radio some time back it was reported that 40,000 republicans switched to democrat to vote for Obama, not because they liked him, but because they think they can beat him. You Obama fans have it all wrong, it is not Hillary and all the baggage, it is the baggage that Obama is bringing in and some that we might not know of yet that bothers me the most. posted 04/09/2008 at 18:56:07
I don't get it. How is she playing the pity card?. It is her campaign giving honest answers to questions being asked. I live in Pa. It is more like four to one not three to one of hers. Believe me that is all we see all day. If senator Obama does not win Pa. it is not because they didn't try, the air ways are full and I mean full of Obama from morning til night. If money was the desiding factor, he has it hands down. He must be spending a bundle here. But of course we know that is the plan, he wants to show people that he can win, however, in Pennsylvania only democrats can vote in this election. It is not like the other states. I once before said an announcement on the radio some time back stated that 40,000 republicans switched to be able to vote for Obama, not because they like him, but they think their party can beat him in November and make this a red state. My brother in law is a republican and that is the buzz that I have been hearing. I keep telling you that Obama has a lot of baggage that you people seem to ignore. Hope we are not all dissappointed when we loose the general election again! posted 04/09/2008 at 18:36:54

Chelsea Clinton Asked About Monica Lewinsky Yet Again

Another one! One thing I will say is that you are all out in force today. School must be out because that sure was put together by a very young, very nieve, silly, person who does not know what else to do but make stupid comments and think that they are so smart. Tell me what are you on????? You certainly make no sense, so it has to be some mind altering something that makes one babble about nothing and think it is something. Go do your home work! Something that will do you some good later in life. posted 04/09/2008 at 17:56:57

Spare us your holier than thou routine. Obama was not in the senate at the time of the vote and he has said that if he were there he would not know how he would have voted. Reality check: This vote was when the republicans were in majority. They gave all democrats a hard time because they said we were soft on crime and soft on terorism. This was when then senator Max Cleland a three limb amputee from the Vietnam war was trying for re election and all tv adds at the time were calling him soft of terrorism and unpatriotic. Hard to believe the stupid people believed that and he lost his bid. Not surprising that Clinton, Edwards and several others voted the way they did. Besides Condi came and told the senators that Bush really wanted the vote to be tough and get the UN inspectors in and let them do the job. HA. They wanted the war all the time. These were tough times for us democrats. Don't you remember????? posted 04/09/2008 at 17:43:37
Why should they? It is none of our business. What has this question got to do with what is happening in the world today? Nothing! Don't tell me about legacy. The person was being cute and in the end he just showed how stupid he was and how little he knows about the crisis our country is in today. Pranks do not belong at a campaign rally, we are in sericous trouble and all he wants to do is get his few minutes of fame showing the world what a donkey he is. (You get my meaning) posted 04/09/2008 at 17:26:35
To me this is a story that some people enjoy here. Trying to humiliate a young woman who had nothing to do with any of that, she was a young child. It shows how ignorant they are of what is happening in the world today. Besides, her father is not running it is her mother that is and she should be judged on her experience, work, and merits. Youth can be so small minded and obtuse at times, he probably thought he was clever. NOT! With us in crisis now, all he can think of is a stupid question that has nothing to do with the situation our country faces today. That can only happen on a campus. Why do they keep putting this junk up? Okday, I just came across this u tube of pastor Wright's comments about Hillary. You should all love this one especially Obama fans.

Obama's Dukakis Moment: Bowling Blunders Matter

I'm not an Obama supporter but not because of the silly reason mentioned in this article. Experience is what counts the most. Someone who can not only talk but can come through for the people. I find that in Hillary. Having a handicapped daughter, I will always remember her for her early works after graduating from college. She along with others managed to get these children were allowed in the main stream of the school system. That is something we forget. She has worked for children's and womens' causes all her life. And has accomplished much for them and their causes.
Senator Obama lost me by attending for 20 years a church that preached hate. He allowed his children to hear this; that bothers me the most. Not being able to bowl or fish means nothing in voting for a president. What counts is their records and their actions to try to make this a better world in works and deeds. He blew it, staying with his church who made them all feel they could never amount to much because of the controlling white race. Non action on this important subject speaks louder than any words.. He wronged his children, they should not have been exposed to such hatred they are too young, he created another generation of adults who hate and puts a wall between the races.. This is his Dukakis moment, and he is lucky that it happened after his wins in other states. posted 04/09/2008 at 13:11:16

Rosie Returns To TV, Talks About Elisabeth, Hillary, Obama, And Why She Gave Up Beer

I seem to remember reading Alec Baldwin saying the same thing about the supreme court. But I must say that my personal view is that senator Obama now has a lot of his own baggage he will have to contend with if he is the candidate. His pastor, his lies, some comments that he has made, video of him and 5 other candidates with the nation anthym in the background playing and he is the only one without his hand on his heart. Plus his wife's comment. I say these for just a few because the republicans already have a video of them, I saw it on a Politico blog. And if you do not think they will use it and that the pastor's sermons are in the past you are baddly mistaken. Republicans already have a video condeming both Obama and Clinton on their stand on Iraq. They play dirty, they will not change overnight. They want to win!..But they do want Obama, they figure they can beat him easily. You have to worry when the republican journalists write nice articles about him and now all of a sudden they are fawning all over McCain and what a great hero he is and was. All the other stuff was to make sure we didn't pick Hillary because they knew they would have a tought time to beat her. A lot of us fell for that. posted 04/08/2008 at 19:47:40
NO! Get a life. I saw nothing wrong in what she said afterwards. Great lady. She adopted several children and I applaud her for it. posted 04/08/2008 at 19:20:43

Obama Delegate Forced To Quit After Remark

Did you read the article? There have been several on senator Obama and his minister, the story was not going away only on this site did they play it down. I think a lot of people me included were more upset with the fact that his children heard the sermons. While the parents knew where the minister was coming from on the sermons, that can not be said of young children. Hate is not something we just pick up, it is taught and young children are very impressionable. Their minds absorb things that we do not even think they can compehend. Senator Obama lied to us and some of you do not care, that of course is wrong too. If he came out in the beginning and told us the same thing that he said afterwards, I think I would have admired him more. I really was a big fan after his speech at Kerry's nomination, But some of his statements during the run for president and other things disturbed me and I feel he can not win the national election. I would not mind a Clinton Obama ticket where he could get more experience and the people would get to know him better. If you look up his record is not as good as Clinton's. posted 04/08/2008 at 18:31:19
The way I read it is that senator Obama gave his race speech because after he said to an interviewer that he had not heard some of the worst sermons and after his letter here on Huffington telling us that too. He campaign was confronted witht he fact that both the press following him and secret service people were there with him to hear on of those sermons. When the journalist called for a comment from the senator, he received no comment. But later Senator Obama came out with his speech, it was to save his presidency not for any other reason.

Obama: No Need For Foreign Policy Help From V.P.

Ms. Fowler, what you have to understand is that unless you fawn all over everything that the senator is saying as gospel truth you upset the Obama followers. He can do no wrong, even when he lies to commemtators and tells them that he was not heard the worst comments from the pastor, and writes them at Huffington post and tells us the same thing, let pay no attention. But the reason for his famous race speech is that his press that follow him and his secret service heard the worst hate speech along with him and the journalist wanted his campaign to comment on what they heard. They got no comment. Guess what happened the following day???? Yep, you guessed it, his speech about race. Convenient, or was he saveing his presidency?????? I do not know. posted 04/07/2008 at 17:47:59

Mark Penn Resigns As Chief Strategist For Clinton Campaign

I will say one more thing. I finally got disgusted with the comments that were wrong, distorted and plain out lies about the Clintons' so I desided to even the playing field so to speak. Thanks to a previous poster, Memorye. There are many lies senator Obama has told. He told an interviewer he never heard the worst comments. But the press following him and his secret service people heard and the journalist wanted a comment from the Obama headquarters as to what they heard in church, he was told no comment. But the next day Obama gave his race speech. I believe it was to save his presidency. But for some reason we all seem to ignore them, believe me the republicans will not and I want to make sure that everything comes out now not later when it is too late to do anything but watch our third try at the white house go up in flames again. He will be swift boated on his own words. Will post later. posted 04/07/2008 at 14:57:06
I hate to disappoint you but no! I am a stay at home mom although older with a handicapped daughter who was benifited by one of Hillary's early projects and I have been following her career for many years. I do happen to read a lot and try to follow what is happening because I do care about who we will elect as our next president. I've been around long enough to know that words alone do not count for much and I am angry that Gore and Kerry did not win and I want to make sure that who we put in this time will make it. I do not think that senator Obama will win the general election.
I loved his speech in Kerry's campain years ago but you have to face facts and he does not really have all that experience. Have you seen the video the republicans have out on him yet?? It's bad and believe me it will get worse. They will tear him apart.

67) "I don"t think my church is actually particularly controversial," Obama said at a community meeting in Nelsonville, Ohio, earlier this month. - LIAR - But yesterday, he told a different story. "Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes," he said in his speech yesterday in Philadelphia.

68) Look at my education record in Illinois - LIAR - In reality, Obama never really championed the local councils. He supported them behind the scenes and only eventually came out publicly on their behalf. When he did weigh in, he came down on the wrong side of the debate" against protecting principals from unwarranted dismissals and in favor of keeping councils independent, no matter what. In the end, the resolution of the conflict between the two sides didn't alleviate anyone's concerns. Instead, it prolonged a turf battle that seems to have dragged down academic progress in the years since. 66) I did not take money from oil companies: - LIAR - [03/31/2008]

THE FACTS: True enough, Obama does not take money from oil companies. No candidate does. It is illegal for corporations to give money to politicians. Corporations, however, do have political action committees that collect voluntary donations from employees and then donate them to candidates. Obama doesn't take money from PACs. He also doesn't take money from lobbyists.

But he does accept money from executives and other employees of oil companies and two of his fundraisers are oil company executives. As of Feb. 29, Obama's presidential campaign had received nearly $214,000 from oil and gas industry employees and their families, according to an analysis by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. Clinton had received nearly $307,000 from industry workers and their families and Republican Sen. John McCain, the likely GOP presidential nominee, received nearly $394,000, according to the center's totals.

Two of Obama"s fundraisers are Robert Cavnar, the chairman and chief executive of Houston-based Mission Resources Corp., and George Kaiser, the president and CEO of Tulsa-based Kaiser-Francis Oil Co. Source: Associated press via Yahoo News posted 04/07/2008 at 13:15:54

PS - Your church published a pro Hamas Manifesto - guess you weren't there on THAT Sunday either? How lucky for you.

Wonder what favors Mr. Auchi expects, when Obama leaves Iraq free to be taken over by special interests such as him.

55.) My Church Is Like Any Other Christian Church - LIAR, your church is so extreme, the pastor who married you, Rev. Wright, just got done blaming the US for 9/11 and named Louis Farrahkan their person of the year.

56.) I Disagree With My Church All The Time - LIAR, you still have yet to repudiate Wright, who married you and your wife, and you still donate large sums of money to assist the church in furthering its message - hatred and revenge. You donated in 2006 alone, $22,500 to the church that you so terribly disagree with. That is nearly $500 PER WEEK - that sure is disagreement, Senator Obama)I Barely Know Rezko - Only 5 Billed Hours - LIAR, you have known him for 17 years, and decided to do a real estate deal with him during a time when he was proven to be under investigation.
