Single, Wasp, ER nurse, a proud card carrying democrat who is for the first time is a very long time (eight years)hopeful that ideals that I believe in will once again matter. The constitution, education, true tolerance for all, diplomacy. All the tools that will be needed for positive change.
I've been a lurker of The Huffington Post for the past year, but decided no more. I do find it amazing how the internet can open the world up though, how it can keep us connected with family and friends, and how it can not only be used to start new friendships but dialog as well. Call it destiny, call it fate, but for whatever reason and whatever the odds, people who didn't know of each others existence connect on the internet. I find that both beautiful and quite touching.
