Op-Ed: McCain's Global Warming Selective Memory

I love that these assholes spent 2 years trying every trick and the book to grind Congress to a halt, and then turn it around and blame the Democrats for not getting anything done, when they are the ones obstructing everything! But of course that was the plan from the very beginning.. I really wish the media would highlight this more. Hopefully Obama and the DNC makes a point of it in November! Hillary And The Racist Gap

There is no white problem, it is an Appalachian problem, and it stems from ignorance. Bush beat Kerry by 13% in WV in 2004, is Kerry too black? No, and Hillary would never be able to beat McCain in WV and like states either. Obama has won snow white states all over the country, and he can kick McCain's ass in November no problem. A poll just out today even showed that Obama and Hillary would have the EXACT SAME levels of white support, both working class and in general, against McCain:

Under no circumstances should he give a penny of his supporters' money to the Clintons. I think you have absolutely nothing to back up your assertion that there is a "near certainty that the Obama campaign would agree to pay back the $11.4 million she has loaned her own bid, along with an estimated $10 million to $15 million in unpaid campaign expenses." What is that based on?

That would be crazy, Obama paying Hillary for Republican attack ads against him, that she did well after it was obvious she wasn't going to be the nominee?? How do you think Obama's donors would feel about $11.4 million of their hard earned money going straight into Bill and Hillary's already loaded bank account?? Basically saying that is an option is telling Hillary that she can loan herself millions more to use to attack Obama, because Obama's supporters will pick up the tab after she finally drops out. posted 05/08/2008 at 08:25:00

So you trolls can pretend that this BS article means something, even though it is obviously biased and not correctly representing facts, and you can pretend that Hillary and Bill both didn't support DOMA, while Obama was against it, and you can pretend that Hillary is "a uniter" (haha), but that doesn't make it true. You people just look ignorant for not really knowing the facts surrounding this issue. posted 04/05/2008 at 12:29:02

Clinton Compares Herself To Rocky Balboa: We "Have A Lot In Common"

Um, Rocky actually had a path to winning though, and when he landed hits they were solid, not like a 5% tap for every two 20-30% hits that he took in the face. posted 04/01/2008 at 12:04:01

Clinton's Convention Strategy In Doubt

We are overlooking the fact that even if you give her the delegates from Florida and Michigan she still won't even be close to beating Obama in pledged delegates or popular vote....so....it isn't going to be a big deal.

More important is what not enforcing the rules will mean for the next contested primary... posted 04/01/2008 at 07:38:54
Obama has nothing to do with the problems with Michigan and Florida, quit buying the Clinton campaign distortions. HuffPo even recently reported that Obama is actually the one trying to pursue a solution in Florida. And he has nothing to lose by a revote in Michigan because polls show he would probably win. posted 04/01/2008 at 07:37:43

Obama Defense Aide Responds To 'Anti-Israel' Criticism

I'm so sick of people accusing others of being anti-Semitic every time anyone has the slightest criticism of any Israeli policy, no matter how correct. That is insanity. We live in a democracy, and the freedom of speech and the free flow of ideas is a requirement of democracy. It is absolutely contrary to our values to not be able to whisper a peep of a criticism, or even a perceived criticism, without being branded a witch or a commie and run out of town. The days of Salem and McCarthy are behind us, why the hell should we have to sensor ourselves just because Israel and its US neoconservative allies don't want their actions scrutinized? I'm sick of it. posted 04/01/2008 at 10:55:25

Lou Dobbs Says Anti-Clinton Media Bias "Worsening"

Um, you mean because no one is saying Hillary has it in the bag and that Obama should just drop out?

Hmm...why could that be....

Or do you mean because no one is saying Obama made up complete events to bolster his foreign policy credentials, and then base his entire campaign and all of his attacks against Hillary on that bullshit experience?

Oh...wait... posted 03/31/2008 at 22:41:36

Florida Moves Ahead Despite DNC Threat

Just split the damn thing 50/50 in both states, because if you put them both up to a revote, and allowed both candidates to campaign there, that is pretty much what would happen, a very expensive and drawn out draw. posted 04/01/2008 at 13:34:11

Hooked on Hillary

I also spend way too much time thinking about her, just as I have spent way too much time in the last seven years thinking about Bush, and how much I hate him. It will be nice when I don't have to think about either of them anymore. posted 03/30/2008 at 20:39:36

Obama Overstates Kennedys' Role In Helping His Father

Who cares? His statement a year ago has nothing to do with his candidacy, it was just being nice to Ted. It is pretty shameless for Hillary supporters to go on here and call him a liar, and imply that this is anything like Hillary's big lies about the very foundation of her entire campaign. Give me a break. posted 03/30/2008 at 19:03:22

Clinton Vows To Stay In Race Until Convention

Hasn't anyone mentioned to her that even if you seat Florida and Michigan's delegates she still doesn't have even close to enough delegates to win? Someone should forward that memo along to her.

And yeah, Edwards was talking the same way right up until the day he dropped out. Of course Edwards had a lot more integrity and decency than Hillary has, so who the hell knows. posted 03/29/2008 at 22:54:40

Chris Matthews Really Plays Hardball, Demands New Guest Name Sources For Obama Claim

Yeah, NOW they finally ask for facts to back up a claim, ha.

And the claim is false, not that it hadn't been said, but the claim itself is completely false. In fact the pro-Israel lobby in the United States has been a HUGE block in the peace process, as has Israel's leadership (and both groups share the exact same agenda). Stating the obvious, which everyone with any foreign policy knowledge knows, is NOT anti-Semitic, or anti-Israel. I'm sooooo sick of these neo-McCarthyites who jump on anyone (even American Jews) who say anything even semi-critical of Israel's policies, no matter how true it is.

These same people play the "6 degrees of Kevin Bacon" with claims of anti-Semitism, it is that ridiculous. Person A makes a factual statement about some Israeli policy that should in no way be controversial, and they are branded an anti-Semite. Then person B says something nice about person A and now person B is an anti-Semite too. Then person C has an acquaintance of person B on their staff, so now person C is a rabid anti-Semite, as is everyone associated with their campaign. It is ridiculous. Can we just say it for what it is? A witch hunt? posted 03/29/2008 at 09:52:23

Chelsea: Mom Will Be "Better President" Than Dad

Couldn't be that hard, he was a pretty mediocre president. If we could get one that wouldn't completely bend over backwards for corporate America they would be better. I'm not sure if Hillary would be any less of a corporate sellout though.

Regardless, it isn't a question of "will", it is a case of "would she have", because it isn't ever happening. posted 03/28/2008 at 17:27:42

Clinton: Wright "Would Not Have Been My Pastor"

Have YOU heard what Wright said? Have you actually listened to the full context of the comments instead of just the sensationalized Fox News smear clips? The things Wright said were not that over the top when you actually listen to the substance instead of jumping to conclusions like a lemming. And considering there are like 3 examples of "controversial" comments over 20+ years, is it really that hard to believe that Obama wasn't there for them? There is no evidence that these kinds of comments are the norm at his church, and to assume that there is something more here, without any evidence or reason to believe it is disingenuous and frankly pathetic. You are the one who needs to get real.

LeftLeaner my ass, you repeat pretty good Fox News talking points for a liberal. You might need to reflect a little bit on what you have become. posted 03/25/2008 at 16:58:12

The Obama campaign's response is dead on, it is pathetic that she is trying to score cheap political points by trying to milk this some more. It was bad enough that the right wing media got so far with the sensationalized and out of context clips in the first place, but to continue to push the bullshit just to divert attention away from media coverage of your lies (and trying to keep them from following through and looking at the rest of your false experience claims) is beyond despicable.

I'm ashamed she is in the Democratic Party. posted 03/25/2008 at 16:50:11

John Edwards Unlikely To Endorse

John Edwards is nothing more than a tough talking weakling. He talked about change vs status quo, he talked about being against lobbyists, he talked about so many things, all of which made Obama the obvious choice for an endorsement, yet he hasn't endorsed. If he really cared so much about changing winning, or about cutting the influence of lobbyists, or any of that, he would have endorsed Obama long ago. He didn't. He has proven that all that talk was nothing more than campaign rhetoric, which is why his voting record didn't reflect the rhetoric, and why his 2004 campaign rhetoric wasn't the same...he made it up, he is opportunistic, he is pathetic. posted 03/22/2008 at 10:46:09
