Big Rewards Await Clinton If She Ends Campaign Now

I was kinda young then (20 yrs old), but I don't remember Kennedy saying that Reagan had more experience than Carter, or was more ready to be commander in chief. Or basically spending the summer trying to tear Carter down.

If Clinton would withdraw the claws a little, I think more people wouldn't have a problem with her staying. If she would go the Mike Huckabee, or even the Barack Obama route of making her own case without trying to rip up her opponent, then I don't think people would be as worried about a split in the party at the convention. posted 05/07/2008 at 21:08:37

Hillary's Honorable Future: A History Lesson

You know, I think New York could use a really good governor about now. posted 03/28/2008 at 12:26:55

Bill Clinton To Obama Campaign: "Let's Just Saddle Up And Have An Argument"

Boy, you're really havin' to twist yourself into knots to find some way that she's ahead. How about whoever's older. Or whoever has the most vowels in their name. Ridiculous. posted 03/26/2008 at 17:54:58

Reid: "Things Are Being Done" To End Dem Primary Before Convention

Clinton: Pledged Delegates Are "Like Superdelegates"

According to Chuck Todd, 9 out of the last 10 winning presidential elections got their nomination sewed up before the other party. It's going down in flames, honey. You want to wait until the convention, then you want President McCain. Period. posted 03/25/2008 at 17:10:35

Obama Endorsed By Bill Richardson

I would hardly call getting the majority of delegates in Texas getting his ass handed to him. Additionally, Hillary's margin of popular vote in TX was about 100,000 out of millions of votes cast. Hardly a mandate.

Further, OH is doing an investigation to see if crossover Republicans didn't help Hillary by making mischief since John McCain had already sewn up the Repub nom.

And finally BTW, PA hasn't voted yet. Might want to get your facts straight before you go shooting off your mouth. posted 03/21/2008 at 11:02:38
I think people mean that in general the Super Ds should support the people's choice, not on a precinct by precinct or state by state basis. I'm sure some of them went against their personal constituents to support Hillary. But if they en masse overturn the will of the people, which to this point has been toward Obama, that would be a very bad thing for the party. Something from which I don't think Dems would ever recover.

Before this race began in earnest, I felt the time was right for a third party to emerge since most people were disgusted with the two major parties. Little did I know that it would be because the Democratic party split in half. Oh well, c'est la vie. posted 03/21/2008 at 10:44:42
