A former venture capitalist, Chandra-Shekar is a writer, speaker, recording artist and healer.
Since the death of his wife of 34 years to cancer in March 2005, he has been on a personal journey of self discovery.
He works pro bono with cancer patients, helping them with intuitive counseling, hypnotherapy and with meditation techniques to diminish fear. He also counsels people dealing with loss.
Together with noted guitarist Tomas Michaud, he recently released his first healing CD "The Magic of Gayatri", a musical journey with one of the oldest prayers known to humanity, the Gayatri mantra (www.magicofgayatri.com).
He lives with his partner Penelope in San Rafael, CA and on the Big Island of Hawaii.
