Having worked as a bookseller in various places I worked as a public servant in the Australian Dept of Veteran Affairs. I am now retired and live with three cats and two dogs, one of which, Lulu, is a Portuguese Water Dog. I am a bush walker and love classical music. I am fascinated by American life and politics which is similar but so different from Australia and love Huffington Post.
