A Progressive Democrat and double major in Journalism and Political Science, I'm a news junkie and Huffpo addict. I worked as a radio and TV news reporter and anchor for a number of years. Next, I spent a few good years as a flight attendant and avid traveler.
A bibliophile and commited Christian, I currently attend a progressive mainstream church, where I both take and teach Bible study classes. I'm also in graduate school, working on a masters in Library and Information Science.
Other favorite things; a good quarter horse, the history of the American west, both Larry and James McMurtry, NPR, PBS, the Washington Post, Bill Maher, and Java Chip Frappechinos.
