Bio
A Progressive Democrat and double major in Journalism and Political Science, I'm a news junkie and Huffpo addict. I worked as a radio and TV news reporter and anchor for a number of years. And spent a few good years as a flight attendant and avid traveler.
Recently, I've been working on a novel and managing a menagerie of horses, hounds, cats, and unruly teen-age sons. A bibliophile and commited Christian, I attend a progressive mainstream church where I both take and teach three Bible study classes a week (if you are blessed to find a brilliant Bible guru as I have, you'd be amazed at how inspiring and enlightening it can be). I'm also a history buff, especially fond of the story of the American West.
Also a huge fan of Larry and James McMurtry, NPR, PBS, and the Washington Post, Bill Maher, and Java Chip Frappechinos.
