He spends most of his time in a courthouse or in an office to which access is strictly controlled. In contrast, Sen. Obama is out in public campaigning probably 12+ hours of every day at this point and will be until November. It would be WAY too easy for someone to take a shot at him.
Thus for Gov. Huckabee to say what he did in a forum to which are guaranteed to be racist gun nuts paying attention (whether in person or not), it was completely and totally irresponsible.
