A woman of "a certain age" from the great, frozen, liberal Northeast. Native of Washington, DC. My self description would have to be "A goody-two-shoes African-American nerd with degrees in English Literature and Language Development with a Linguistics background." I think that Democrats must take hold of political language and not leave inventive terms and phrases to "Republicants." How could I possibly forget to add this? My husband is a Theology School graduate who has a Master's in Theological Studies and a doctorate in Philosophy (as in "what is the meaning of life?") I mention this so readers can see that I've probably had some well-thought-out discourse before I post.
