I think mom blogs are great. I'm a single dad with a blog - talk about networking and community building! I don't know many single parents in Silicon Valley where I live, and blogging lets me share stories about what single parenting and modern dating is really like. Two-home concerns, the craziness of online dating, getting text messages from your daughter who's in the other room, the sad necessity of hookups and booty calls. Not typical parent fare, at all. Yet I'm connecting with women and men of all ages and marital status. All from blogging. Don't Call Him Mr. Mom

I've been a single dad with half-time custody for 8 years now, and I love that dads are becoming more evolved. I wouldn't give up my time with my kids for anything. And I agree with dadw5boys' comment: please lose the Mr. Mom moniker. It's a socially toxic stereotype whose time has come to pass.
