The only candidate that had anything to lose - went on record in one of the most important races of her life. She's doing well in the polls- unlike racism, homophobia is still very acceptable. Read some of the comments here. Hillary has courage- similar to the courage she showed for moveon.org when she voted against censure- how did Senator Obama vote...oh yeah- again- he declined to show up.

Yeah- remember when Hillary was in SC and she did a big religious event with Rev. McClurkin- the ex-gay, gay minister who has a 'de-programming' program for gays. When she did that I was like "WHAT?"

i think that is a skewed poll. I am a Hillary supporter and a Democrat. I believe Hillary is better Presidential Candidate. I spoke to my aunt who lives in Texas yesterday, she is a registered Democrat, Catholic, Single mother of two grown boys. When we started talking politics, she was not bothered by what Rev. Wrights said about "white america" she and her colleagues were most disturbed by what Rev. Wright said about America, and September 11th. She was not a fan of Hillary's, she was hoping to cast her ballot for John Edwards. She ended up voting for Hillary- but through the media bias that continues, the constant bashing that Hillary has received- she has really come around to Hillary and is now a very big supporter. So this polling info- strikes me as strange- Senator Obama and his campaign have been very good at spinning the media- just take a look at the HuffPost- compare headlines. Senator Obama is a politician, who has not been vetted.
Senator Obama has been given so many passes by the far left of our party.
1. Stomping around SC with anti-gay Rev. McClurkin
2. Sitting in a church as his mentor gyrates his hips and suggest that Bill did to the African American community what he did to Monica Lewinsky.
3. Back door conversations with the Canadian Government- that he repeatedly denied.
4. Champions his work on the South Side of Chicago, while allowing a close 'benefactor' to secure over $100,000,000.00 in grants and loans to 'refurbish' downtrodden buildings for the low income families.
5. One of his first pieces of Nuclear Legislation (that never passed- he has the AUDACITY to mislead voters in Iowa that he did pass) has received over $200,000 from Exelon.
6. Is entirely comfortable calling for the resignation of Don Imus (as we all were) but yet chooses to not use the word offensive to describe his own pastors words when generalizing from the pulpit about 'white' americans. I know there are some moveon folks in the house- go ahead, search and find how Senator Obama parsed the word in his speech. Then I am sure you will explain away his motives...as his supporters always do.
