Florida, Michigan cannot save Clinton

I agree that there should be no superdelegates. It's their fault that all this happened in the first place. Clinton should be give a slight advantage because she technically did win the primary. But to count the results as is is ludicrous. We live in the United States, not some country where they just install leaders. posted 05/16/2008 at 11:21:36

Massive Blowback To NARAL's Obama Endorsement

The more I see of Hillary Clinton and her supporters the more I am resolute in my decision not to vote for her. She is so divisive and brings out the lowest common denominator. Thanks Naral for having the courage to say no to Hillary Clinton and hopefully when she is finally out of the race(as she should have been for months now) the women will come to their senses and realize that she is not the nominee because of her own flaws, not the mean and nasty men. posted 05/15/2008 at 12:22:57

This woman has tapped into feminine anger in a way that is very dangerous. She is the most divisive candidate I can ever remember running. And she is whipping her supporters both low profile and high profile into a frenzy. IMO the supers are allowing her to leave on her own steam but if she doesn't shut up and make her rabid bitter supporters shut up, they will move enmasse to Obama without giving a thought to her reputation or dignity. She is fighting for herself. She doesn't care about the party, she doesn't care about Obama. It's all about her. And Obama is too much of a gentleman to point out her deficiencies so we have to do it for him. We have to fight for him and our party. Not the Clinton party, not the big machine states, not the popular vote counting states that voted illegally, not the old cronies that owe the Clintons their livelihood or who are being blackmailed by them into supporting her. It is time to come together and she can either do it gracefully or be dragged out kicking and screaming.

She has not acted presidential at all in the last month. if the first woman candidate for president can make Rocky look like a pansy or be told she has testicular fortitude she's not the right woman to be the first female president of the US. If she can go out there and lie about creating jobs and lie about trade agreements while her husband promotes them she is not the right woman to be president. She's losing 90% percent of the black vote and somehow you think she's going to be able to get them back after she steals the election from him? She's just a con artist. She lost and even some of her more rational political supporters see it, they will all jump ship and she will just continue to embarass herself and all her supporters for a while longer. posted 04/26/2008 at 18:51:14
Your ignorance amazes me. If Hillary Clinton were not the wife of an expresident with rich fat cats donating money to her crappy campaign, she would have been forced out after the 11 losses and Obama would have had no problem getting the votes he needed to get him over the 2000 delegate count. How do I know this because her campaign guru Terry McCauliffe cut down the process after 10 states got their votes to be counted in 2004 for John Kerry. And now after seeing how disgraceful and dirty the Clintons are I think they didn't want John Kerry to win so she could run this election. It's amazing how cynical the Clintons make me. After Bush I was so excited to be hopeful and optimistic about a presidential candidate Barack Obama and now Clinton plays the Bush card and instead of the supreme court she's trying to get the superdelegates to steal the nomination. And now for the ultimate compliment you are no better then the Bush supporter who keeps excusing his behavior and forgiving his lies just because he is their "candidate". posted 04/26/2008 at 18:47:13

Obama To Launch General Election Strategy

The fifty state strategy is why he is going to win this thing. Hillary can only deliver the solidly blue states(and with all the demographics she's insulted even that is a stretch) Obama will put more states in play and probably have great coattails. posted 04/25/2008 at 19:56:32

Obama Backer: Irreparable Breach Between Clinton And Blacks Is Foreseeable

I'm a white lady in upstate NY and she's not too popular up this way either. She is lucky if she can win her senate seat back after this campaign, I am so sick of the hypocritical Hillary supporters who have been on blogs and message boards for year calling Bush the selected candidate, meanwhile they support Hillary while she uses Rovian tactics and plans to steal the nomination. They disgust me at this point, posted 04/25/2008 at 23:27:39
I agree I was kinda hoping it wouldn't go through. Sometimes my post a comment goes a little bit faster then my brain. I do stand by a not so vitriolic version of my post though.

I do believe that HC has used the gender card to the nth degree and I do get angry when people say that Obama used the race card when in actuality he was trying to appeal to Americans as a person and not an African American. I resent the fact that we are seperated as every race, gender and so forth and so on. So apologies for my vitriole. posted 04/25/2008 at 20:43:20
Oh sure and Hillary has probably never seen the the inside of a kitchen she brings up night and day to all of her girlie, girls. She has servants to do her cooking. She says all the mean boys are trying to get me to leave the race(BECAUSE SHE LOST) and all you bitter old ladies who have lost a job to a younger, better looking, professional man eat it up.

Now you can say as a bitter Hillary supporter you won't vote for Obama either and I can say to you that you are full of crap, because the WOMEN need a democrat in the White House more then the African Americans do.

And yes I know there is a sexist bent, I'm a misogynist I hate myself for being a woman. posted 04/25/2008 at 20:32:14
The Clinton's chose this route because they wanted to appeal to the baser instincts in all of us. They can only win(steal the election) by dividing us into sections, demographically, racially, by gender, by class, by religion.

Obama meanwhile wanted to appeal to the best in us with optimism and hope, but that is pretty hard to do when you are fighting against people who are evil enough to do anything includes stealing a nomination they lost. posted 04/25/2008 at 20:24:42
Not too racist ! You are probably a republican. posted 04/25/2008 at 20:19:06
So I suppose you have a problem with the Clinton's usage of the working class white person Obama can't connect to? Speaking of the war in Iraq, she voted for it and last week said she would obliterate Iran . We could use that reason why african americans and people like myself won't vote for her. It is ignorance to pretend that she and her campaign can just say anything and do anything and expect their reputation with the black community to overcome it. She has a snowball's chance in hell if she gets the nomination over the person who beat her, no matter what color he is. posted 04/25/2008 at 20:13:46
I like Patrice am a white woman who agrees with you wholeheartedly. I find the idea that we have to say we are white women very telling indeed. It doesn't take the color of your skin to know when someone is being racially divisive. The campaign wasn't even all that subtle. posted 04/25/2008 at 20:02:26

Pelosi On The Dream Ticket: "No, I Don't Think It's A Good Idea"

Clinton 2 is more like Bush 2 then she is like Clinton 1. I'm already sick of seeing her face on my screen every day. She couldn't even run her campaign how the hell do you expect her to run the country. posted 04/25/2008 at 10:12:14
The only thing that could make me NOT vote for Obama would be Hillary Clinton on the ticket. Then he will be just another politician running for president. Myself I think there are quite a few MORE experienced less destructive women he could put on the ticket. Perhaps one of these wonderful women governor's he has supporting him. posted 04/25/2008 at 10:10:45

James Clyburn Criticizes Bill Clinton's "Bizarre" Conduct During Campaign

It was during the 90's that the big sucking sound sucking good american jobs out of the country. Without the immoral judgement of Bill Clinton and the constant scandals of the Clinton years this idiot wouldn't be in the White House NOW. So no I don't think the Clinton's are good for the country.

BTW I'm a 48 year old white woman and I will never forget what the Clinton's have done to Obama and if Hillary Clinton is the nominee I will vote for John McCain. posted 04/25/2008 at 08:58:33

Media Jump Ship From Obama To Clinton

Not to mention that if Hillary steals the nomination(that is the only way she can get it) the african american community will stay home or vote for John McCain. Anyone who thinks they will vote for the woman who took away the nomination from Obama using mostly racial reasons is dreaming. posted 04/25/2008 at 08:51:33

Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Howard Dean May Intervene In Dem Primary

The young people don't care, she's lost them already. All she has is the poor uneducated white people and the bitter old ladies. posted 04/24/2008 at 23:16:19
And if the African americans stay home, or just some of them stay home. Say 25% how the hell is Hillary going to win those states? She won't add to her primary victory because there is NO CROSSOVER with Hillary Clinton.

And if Hillary Clinton can't run a good campaign against Obama a first time candidate how the heck do you think she will do against McCain who's been around the clock more then once.

And if the choice is between McCain and Clinton you can forget all those Reagan democrats and independents and republicans.

Obama puts them in play. posted 04/24/2008 at 20:48:00
It kills me to listen to him too. Want to throw my shoe through the tube. He is also one of those sanctimonious prigs who think we can't see that he's secretly hoping for a McCain presidency. Not too thrilled with David Gregory either. Hate phonies. that's why I support Obama. posted 04/24/2008 at 20:43:49
To me the candidate and supporters look more bushist every single day. Doesn't matter what they do or how they steal the election as long as it is their candidate and they win. posted 04/24/2008 at 20:41:31
I've read your same rationale for 10 posts now and it's baloney. He won 30 states to her 14, he won more votes, more pledged delegates. How can you possibly come here and spout that he needs superdelegates to win when he needs them because of the PROCESS. She has lost and it's intellectually dishonest to pretend she hasn't. posted 04/24/2008 at 20:22:30
I hate John McCain and I hate the war, but if HC steals this nomination I'll vote for McCain because I don't think she has any intention of taking our troops out of Iraq unless it is to invade Iran., posted 04/24/2008 at 20:19:02
Evo, I actually heard Joe Scarborough say that African Americans are the most loyal base the Democrats have and they will vote for Hillary. Yes of course they will vote for her if she steals the nomination from Obama after HE'S WON. Absolutely ridiculous! posted 04/24/2008 at 20:15:16
Dear, that wonderful man who works on Hillary's campaign. His name is Terry McCauliffe, I"m sure you've heard of him. He made damn sure that he rushed John Kerry down our throats and made all the other candidates drop out for the sake of Unity. By the time my primary in March rolled around all the candidates were gone. So don't you talk to me about about a BANANA REPUBLIC. The scumbag Clintons have lost. they lost quite a while ago and they are ruining the democratic party. posted 04/24/2008 at 16:05:53
Thank Hillary Clinton for all the drip, drip, drip of American jobs that flew out of the United States due to her free trade double dealing husband(not to mention her freaky ex(hah) campaign manager) posted 04/24/2008 at 15:41:32
Indeed as a NY'er I'm hoping the governorship isn't the consolation prize. I will actively campaign for whoever runs against her for her senate seat too. I have never felt this way about a politician before, not even Bush. That's scary. posted 04/24/2008 at 15:39:16
He won. Technically he won when he won 11 contests in a row. Out of deference to Hillary Clinton and her fat cat donors they didn't cut her loose. It's time. We don't need another 2 weeks of her tearing down Obama. 3 more contests after those 11 loses and she has made a 10 delegate dent in his lead. It is just destroying the party every day she stays in the race after she's lost. If she were ANYBODY else they would shove her out. It's time. posted 04/24/2008 at 15:35:37
