As I understand he was speaking of our government and the corruption within it that runs rampant .
We now have 'in your face' corruption along with the attitude of -so what- We have a government whose conscience is so warped they don't even know what is right anymore.
The reverend was right on. But apparently we are not supposed to talk that way about the government?

First of all you don't give that kind of power to someone who had already shown himself to be so dishonorable with the 2000 election. She showed a lack of discernment in this way.
Anyone who voted for Bush to wage this war should be put out to pasture . There is no valid excuse for doing so. If they were fooled then they are stupid and do not belong in a position of power.
Second the people did not want a war with Iraq. The letters coming in to Washington were 10 to 1 against it. She ignored the voice of the people and voted their right to be heard right out from under them. It appears now she would do it again.

If the excuse is they were fooled then they don't deserve a position of power. I was not fooled.
It is my opinion that all those who ignored the voice of the people and gave Bush his right to wage war are not patriotic they are corrupt and the excuse that "everybody does it' or 'he did it too' does not have wings in fact it slithers.
