I am a small business owner. I am a lifelong democrat, as were my parents and my grandparents. I believe in government of the people, by the people, and FOR the people. I have one grown son, a daughter-in-law, and two grandkids, and love to read and play the piano. Previously, I worked in not-for-profit public relations, and also as a reporter for a small town newspaper. I first became very interested in politics when I was a girl, and followed John F. Kennedy avidly.
