Do We Really Need A 'Faith-Based' Initiative?

Do I agree with Obama on this matter, no. But I have no place to go, for he has the words that end eternal strife. I will write him, I will attend any meeting with him I can and I will support any group that will emplore him to revoke the faith based sillyness. But I will vote for Obama because voteing for Mcsame is a sin posted 07/02/2008 at 09:28:36

What Bill O'Reilly Is Really Afraid Of

In the 1960s you turned on the news to see uncle Walter or Huntley and Brinkley, they sat in front of you and read the news in such a fashion that you felt you were there, at the end of the half hour you were a little more informed and had the seeds needed to make your opinions relavent.
The news of today is decided by the sponcers, the anchors are opinionated and when our nation calls as in the start of this vile war, the same anchors rode into the desert enthralled and with actual bloodlust.

Jesus for President, a Review for Atheists -- Part 2: God's Story

"It's a mystery" a phrase that might be new to protastants and a way to worship without useing that pesky mind thing. But "it's a mystery" was a tool of invaluable merit in the Catholic church as well as the readers digesting of the bible for the sake of digestion by the masses at masses.
In the old days the bible had to be edited for consumption because it might challenge logic and morality, today you need to edit it because its bat shit crazy.

Say Hillary, What About The Religious "Family" You Have Chosen To Be Part Of?

I do not think you can judge normal people by the religion they follow.
Religion is an attempt to deny death, it is mans way of dealing with the boogie man in the dark dark night..
Its normal to fear death, its common to look for acceptance by the big daddy in the sky, even brotherhood with a semitic zombie is to some extent understandable when one is striving for life eternal.
But to judge a otherwise rational person by thier religion....... posted 03/26/2008 at 09:41:13
