Clinton Protest Voters for McCain

And what are the demographics of the Obama supporters who won't support Hillary if she wins?. Please don't lecture us about how we should stand up for reproductive rights. It's women like Hillary and her
supporters that worked their butts off to get them. We wanted to be sure our daughters were protected and now our daughters are basking in the light of an empty suit named Obama and telling us we need
to vote for him to continue these rights for them. If you want them, then roll up your sleeves and
get to work but don't expect the women you kicked to the curb to be stupid enough to do this again. Oh and if Obama becomes President, don't bring your buyers remorse to us. posted 05/16/2008 at 11:22:14
Over 80% of the American people agreed to go to war.....where do you hold them accountable?
like you have Clinton and those who voted for a resolution believing Bush would act honorably and finish the inspections;

What has Obama done for the veterans?.....here is one of many things that Hillary has done. "The Senate has approved the Dignified Treatment of Wounded Warriors Act, which contains provisions offered by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) from her Heroes at Home Act of 2007, Bridging the Gap for Wounded Warriors Act and Restoring Disability Benefits for Injured and Woun"ded Warriors Act, among others, to address problems facing our wounded servicemembers. The Dignified Treatment of Wounded Warriors Act was approved as a first degree amendment to the Department of Defense (DoD) Authorization Act, which is currently being debated on the Senate floor."

My nephew died in Iraq and his family is supporting Hillary because they admit openly that
they thought the war was the right thing to do but they also thought they had a leader that
would know how to run it correctly. It is not Hillary that is responsbile for Iraq as much as you all want to make her your excuse.....it is George Bush, Dick Cheney and company. It's time
to get over it, what is is and now we need to find a way out. posted 05/16/2008 at 10:54:50

Obama-Hillary Dream Team Sounds More Like A Nightmare

Obama didn't run his campaign....he just showed up where they told him to be and read the speeches off the teleprompter written by his 26 year old speech writer and recycled from Deval
Patrick. Axelrod created Obama in the image of Deval Patrick. Deval is doing so well in MA as Goverrner that for the first time in their history, a Republican is leading in the polling for President. Mc Cain 47, Obama 45. Hillary cleaned Obama's clock there despite Kennedy and Kerry.
This was the only state McGovern won and Obama is behind there. The people of MA
know it takes more than a well run campaign to be a good leader. posted 05/15/2008 at 20:28:54

For almost 8 years we have had a President that goes forward right or wrong, refuses to change course, refuses to reexamine new facts. I am hoping that whoever the next President is they will
be someone that can execute a change in policy if a situation changes. When Bush took us into
war, over 80% of the American people agreed with his decison. No one knew that he was going to be so unprepared to execute it or so stubborn to refuse to ever change his mind on policy.. I am hoping that the next President will put his or her ego on the shelf and change their mind on bad policies....whether it be Obama or Clinton. Presidents are human beings just like all of us, they are not
perfect and thank goodness we have two candidates who are willing to change their mind. posted 05/05/2008 at 16:58:55

The Deal: Hillary and Obama's "Granita Pact"?

The people who spend time on websites and blogs. listen to progressive radio, and the talking heads in the MSM whine and cry about how much damage is being done by this race going on so long. Most Americans don't have time to listen to this stuff because they are working two jobs, raising kids and trying to figure out how to survive. When you call most people in support of a candidate they are really happy to be able to have a choice this year and not have the primary over by
the time the race gets to their state. Many tell you they have never before thought their vote made a difference and didn't vote in the primaries. They are happy to actually have a presidential candidate come to their communities. They also tell you they are really excited to have two great candidates for a change and rarely does someone say they will not vote for the other candidate if their candidate loses. I think the complainers and the hand wringers once again are underestimating the American people. You would also be surprised at how many would like to see it decided at the convention.

On My Switch From Clinton to Obama

I still believe the only way the Clinton people will be preserved, is if they feel the process finishes it's normal course. Perception is everything. If the remaining primaries are
shoved aside which is how I read this article, the Clinton people will feel they stole the
election from her. If she comes to the end of the primaries and they see she has
lost and then the superdelegates way in, it will be a much easier process to keep
them. Waitiing five more weeks, keeps the enthusiasm high in the states that are still
waiting to vote and it can only help in the election in November. If everyone sees a fair
end, they will be more apt to stay with the party. Every time someone comes out
demanding it end now, the Clinton supporters declare they will not vote in November.
Let's remember she has half of the popular vote, that is not a small number of people.
The Democratic candidates have been in every state and I doubt that McCain can top that in the time remaining that is why this idea that there is so little time left is not valid...........a base has already been built for Obama if he wins. Today on another blog
people were complaining that that were babyIng Hillary and asked why are we doing this......the simple answer......who do you want to win in November and whose voters do you need for that to happen. posted 05/01/2008 at 17:36:48
This is not a Clinton pastor......this event took place in a town named Clinton and the story is
still rumbling around. In other words, it has nothing to do with the Clintons. posted 05/01/2008 at 16:53:48
You are right on. We are only five weeks from the end of the primary season. This superdelegate's decision to change is really only to end the primary season now. I suspect
that he is worried that his candiate might lose if we allow all of the rest of the states to vote.
If Senator Obama is the right candidate he will be the winner at the end. To stop the process now, will only anger the people supporting Hillary and the unintentional result may be a win for Mc Cain
in November. Let the process finish and let the superdelegates do what they are supposed to do and vote at the convention. No one has ever had a problem with this process before until this election. When Ted Kennedy was running he only had about 800 delegates and he stayed in and tried to win it a the convention. Mondale and Hart duked it out until the end. The process has been established, let it finish out. posted 05/01/2008 at 16:48:50

The problem is that those comments may have been spliced but they came

what they were being used for. Also Oprah left that church because of the minister's sermons. Obama finally admitted that they asked Wright not to give the invocation when he announced his run for the Presidency because of comments he had made. I hate to be in a position that is defending McCain but Obama has a 20 year relationship with Wright, at least 17 years with Rezko and at least 7-10 years with Ayers and in fact
served on a board with him where they gave money to some rather unsavory people that the press hasn't even looked at yet. How does that compare to a campaign manager
in Florida that you may have known briefly? Joe Scarborough has run for election and won and let's remember how one white women in a commercial derailed Harold Ford right at the end of the election so I think Morning Joe was right. the Iraqui Auchi whom he claimed he never met. Yesterday, people who attended
the affair also said Obama introduced Auchi. They could have shown the audience the
copy of the questionaire he claimed during the debate he never signed which we know today he did and it was for gun control. They could have asked him, if he never attacks Clinton, why he has been doing Annie Oakley jokes about her all week. The list goes on and on

USA Today: Obama Is Surrounded By Lawyers From Lobbying Firms

Wait just a minute there. If you do the math, on one day in the Bay Area last week end where he attacked the bittered., Obama went to four events, three of which had $2,300 minimum donations per ticket, and the other $1,000 minimum per ticket. Each of the events, from the various descriptions, held as many as 400 people (the Getty mansion has a ballroom that reportedly seats at least 300). 400 x $2,300 = $920,000 per event, times three events = $2.76 million, plus the other event, which undoubtedly puts him over $3 million in contributions for this one day alone. And who knows how many other similar days he schedules in other parts of the country.
He is not getting his money from small donations. Look at what the article above says the ex-
lobbyists are required to raise for him. He has made you think it is all small donations....it is
a LIE. posted 04/16/2008 at 12:48:53

10 former federal lobbyists, have pledged to raise at least $3.5 million for the Illinois senator's presidential race. Employees of their firms have given Obama's campaign $2.26 million, a USA TODAY analysis of campaign finance data shows.

They may not get a salary but how do you define working for him.......
I can also tell you that employees working for these fundraisers
have all kinds of pressure to make a contribution......It goes against who he claims he is. posted 04/16/2008 at 12:38:13

Obama's "Big Tent" Campaign Cuts Out The Little People In California

I am sorry for what happened to you but having worked for Obama during his run for the Senate,
he is, has and always will be politics as usual. When you get involved with him, you think the sun
rises and sets on this guy but you realize that he is no different than any other politician. He
is a brand and just like Bush, he has people behind him selling him and doing whatever it takes to get him elected. The problem is, when he finally gets there you see that what you bought is not what you were being sold. Here is a another story about the Big Tent campaign from the Tarten
the student newspaper for Carnegie Mellon on a Obama campaign rally.
While the crowd was diverse, some students at the event questioned the practices of event coordinators, who handpicked the crowd sitting behind Mrs. Obama. The paper"s correspondents observed one event coordinator say to another, "Get me more white people, we need more white people." To an Asian girl sitting in the back row, one coordinator said, "We"re moving you, sorry." "I didn"t know they would say, "We need a white person here,"‰" said attendee and senior psychology major Shayna Watson, who sat in the crowd behind Mrs. Obama. "I understood they would want a show of diversity, but to pick up people and to reseat them, I didn"t know it would be so outright."
It's all about selling the brand. posted 04/10/2008 at 16:56:27
