McCain: I 'Didn't Love America' Until Held Prisoner (VIDEO)

Ummm...yeah--that "pathelogical (sic) America hating leftist psycho" spent 7 years in the U.S Marines. How about you? Frankly you don't seem to have the reading comprehension skills or the critical faculties to master more than a ten-second YouTube soundbite. Do a little more research, my friend, and the light will dawn. posted 06/20/2008 at 15:23:12

Michelle Obama On "The View": Fist Bumps All Around

Ummm...you seem to have missed FOX's "terrorist fist bump" comment, the labelling of Michelle as Barack's "baby mama" and hours and hours of Reverend Wright. and accompanying trash-talk. You also seem to have missed the bulk of Obama's resume, including years in the state senate and as a U.S. Senator. Try Wikipedia for some basic facts--there's no great mystery about either of the Obamas. posted 06/18/2008 at 13:16:30

Obama Hires Solis Doyle: A Bad Omen For VP Hillary

I think her name is actually Shirley Riley--she just has trouble spelling it. posted 06/16/2008 at 18:32:06
Wow--good to know that you were voting for some kind of cult or personality rather than on the issues or personal convictions, because if you can reconcile supporting HRC and then McCain, you are one confused fella. I mean, who cares about tax cuts for the wealthy--YEAH! Loading the Supreme Court with conservative, anti-choice judges--YEAH! 100 years in Iraq--YEAH! And let's not forget McCain's personal record with women, calling his wife the c-word in public--YEAH! And I bet you enjoy reminiscing about McCain's classic joke "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno." Truly one of the most repulsive little moments in recent political history. YEAH!!! posted 06/16/2008 at 16:56:49

Obama's Father's Day Speech Urges Black Fathers To Be More Engaged In Raising Their Children

Wow--thank you for that. A good post and a wonderful speech by Obama. I think it takes incredible guts to confront these issues face-on and he does it with kindness, intelligence and yes--empathy. posted 06/16/2008 at 07:48:49

Hillary Loses Again

I'm so tired too of this notion that the media gave Obama a free pass. If that was true, why did we have 24/7 coverage of Reverend Wright? It was worse than the Dean Scream. Why did we have pinheads like George Stephanopoulos asking idiotic questions about flag pins and "does rev. Wright love his country as much as you?" I mean--seriously. posted 06/11/2008 at 09:32:33
Sorry--I agree with many of the posters here. Hillary's last weeks of campaigning, including her "concession" speeches were the worst. As a woman and a liberal Democrat and a former Clinton supporter, I was horrified by the disingenuous attempt to turn Michigan and Florida into a civil rights issue, the baseless accusations of sexism, by her constant attempts to paint her supporters as "invisible" and disempowered and her incredibly well-connected, well-funded, abysmally-run campaign as the poor little underdog to Obama's "elitist" forces. And then the two speeches which to my ears sounded like "me me me...Seneca Falls...me me me...18 million votes...me me me...oh, and btw, vote for Obama, you poor silenced, ignored women!" I kept waiting for a note of graciousness, humility, magnanimity...and it just never came. I really think that it could have been a redemptive moment and instead it was just more bruised ego and disappointed entitlement. posted 06/11/2008 at 09:17:21

Webb's Audition: Blasts McCain, Assesses Obama's Appalachia Problem

I don't know if Webb's comments about women stand up unfavorably compared with John McCain's record--calling his wife a c--- in public, making that truly foul joke about Chelsea back in the day. posted 06/05/2008 at 12:01:25

Chelsea Clinton Asked About Monica Lewinsky Again, Watch Video

um, yeah, SO obviously because um...um...huh??

Please. You're just sounding desperate. Why on earth would Obama plant an idiot to ask a ridiculous, mean question and what has he ever done that's remotely in this vein? The nastiest thing Obama has said during this entire campaign is "you're likable enough, Hillary." On the flip side, you might want to Google the vicious joke that McCain made at Chelsea's expense when she was just a kid and he was waaayy old enough to know better.

For the record, this stuff is completely below the belt and it sounds as if Chelsea's handling it with the requisite panache. posted 03/31/2008 at 20:13:49

University Of Chicago: Obama Was A Professor

Thank you SO much, Ann, for clarifying that for us! You'd better drop an e-mail to U Chicago and set them straight...wow, those academics can be so darn flighty sometimes!

Will the stream of pointless bile issuing from your keyboard ever end? Ever? Any hobbies? Any positive arguments to be made in FAVOR of your candidate or just lies and poison? posted 03/31/2008 at 21:55:41

Samantha Power Unapologetic About Iraq Remarks, Hints At Return

wait a minute--you feel that an off the record comment that Hillary was a "monster" is...personal destruction? Sorry...but um...what planet are you from? I don't think Hillary went home and cried into her pillow. She might want to recall, actually, what her new buddy John McCain once said about her own daughter--one of the nastiest little episodes, surely, in U.S. political history. posted 03/26/2008 at 17:08:16
This is surely the most delusional batsh*t post I have read here today. Who's heading your "third party"--Rush Limbaugh? Ann Coulter? Newsflash--they were umm...kidding when they said that they were supporting Hillary. Sorry. posted 03/26/2008 at 15:17:22
She actually meant to call her a "mobster"--she just misspoke! posted 03/26/2008 at 15:13:33
ummm...forgive me, but what on earth is a "hand in the bush?" posted 03/26/2008 at 15:12:35

Hitchens: Obama Sold Out His Grandmother

I think you're missing the point. Obama's grandmother is clearly a loving woman and an important figure in his life--read his book. She is not a crazed bigot or racist--just occasionally insensitive. Obama's speech was pointing out, I believe, that he loves both of these people in spite of their opinions or racial hang-ups. Th Wright thing has been so colossally blown out of proportion; if you listen to the post-9/11 speech in its entirety it's a completely different thing. posted 03/25/2008 at 20:00:30

LeBron James Vogue Cover Criticized For "Perpetuating Racial Stereotypes"

Ummm...why? I looked at your picture--I just don't see the similarities. There's no attacker-victim vibe; he looks athletic, not rage-filled, and happily she doesn't have a glimmer of helpless victim about her at all. I personally like the picture a lot and heck--if we want to start getting offended at the newsstand, all we have to do is cast an eye at Maxim, King, etc. etc. posted 03/25/2008 at 18:08:59
My two cents--this is a little nuts. I tend to be a little sensitive to this stuff, but really--they both look great. He's not assaulting her or "carrying her off to his lair" or anything animalistic and her pose is also thoroughly joyous, strong and confident--nothing victim-ish or helpless there at all. They both radiate energy. I think people are reading waaaay too much into this. posted 03/25/2008 at 18:01:46
