If we leave it up to the insurance companies, watch what will happen! forced purchase of inadequate health care coverage, exhorbitant co-pays, exclusions, minimised care and if effect, more money fleeced from americans for no good reason. If we don't enact single payer, the inmates (insurance companies) will be running the asylum to an even greater degree than they do now. People, wake up!! Support a single payer system. Let insurance companies sell life insurance and let them insure stuff, not people's health. They have never shown themselves to give a rip about people's health - what makes you think they will start now?
