Florida, Michigan cannot save Clinton

dcree and akun--he most certainly COULD have split those markets off. The rest of the candidates did. When you make a media buy you pay for the markets you cover with that buy. If his campaign hadn't paid for the FL markets they woudln't have run here.
That "it was a national buy" whine is a big fat lie. posted 05/16/2008 at 16:39:49
Apparently this idiot means Howard Dean. Another informed intellectual Obamabot. posted 05/16/2008 at 15:31:10
Oh please. Cut the "revote" garbage. The real reason there were no revotes is because neither state could afford to pay for one and the DNC refused to help.

I don't care which candidate said what about a revote--it was never, ever going to happen. posted 05/16/2008 at 12:45:13

I'm no fan of the FL Legislature, but you have homework to do. Look into what bill this primary move was tacked on to.

BTW, the DNC RULES everyone is bleating about specify FL that would lose HALF our delegates if we moved the primary, not all of them. posted 05/16/2008 at 12:36:11

I have no opinion on MI, it's a whole different story. I know in FL, the Obama campaign has refused to accept any compromise that doesn't include him stealing votes he didn't get.

It won't make a damn bit of difference in the end, but he wants FL's vote in Nov (and he's going to need it) he's not making any friends down here.

Fl is not satisfied to be Obama's ATM. posted 05/16/2008 at 12:13:44
How do you get "RACE BAITER" out of that?

Projecting much?

I voted in FL. I didn't vote for Clinton or Obama.

I want my vote counted. For once. Will it make on bit of difference to anyone? No. But in this country we (used to) count every vote. posted 05/16/2008 at 12:11:00

Here's more of the arrogance that is driving the party apart. I have been a registered Democrat since my 18th birthday. I first voted in the 1980 election. Do the math. Don't you DARE tell me I'm not a Democrat because of how dismayed I am at the way my party has been bamboozled by this flim-flam. Don't you DARE tell me that I'm not a Democrat because I refuse to condone the subversive campaign of hate and division that the Obama camp has engineered. Don't you DARE tell me I am not a Democrat because I am horrified that you and your fellows have denegrated one of our party heros and painted him, a former president of this country, as a bafoon and embarrssment.

If you support Obama and I don't, it doesn't make either one of us more or less of a Democrat. This is why we have primaries. This is why we have a convention. People like you have done more damage to MY party than the mess Dean's made of it.

Yes, I'm considering leaving my party. And it's your fault.

Not that you care. I'm just an over 40 white woman. Educated (even graduated from college!) in the Northeast. Currently living in the disenfranchised swing state of FL.

I used to call myself a "yellow-dog" democrat. The yellow dog is dead. I'll be sitting out this election, my first time ever including when I lived overseas, and leaving the party.

My mother said yesterday that Obama was like a kindergartener enrolled in a grad seminar. Perfect description. He's in so far over his head he can't even percieve that he's actually underwater.

Add in his hateful, spiteful followers and the "above the fray" campaign that allows them to spew sewage in the name of the "new politics of hope" and you have many, many disenfranchised, long-time democrats.

I did not vote for either Clinton or Obama in our (non)primary. They were both, for vastly different reasons, at the bottom of my list when I went into the voting booth.
