Born to a republican attorney and a republican social worker, I was raised in the hard-working midwest. For 30 years my home was the state Obama won first and the third state in America to legalize gay marriage. I started out as a conservative and grow more progressive every year. By the time I retire I'll be a marxist--if I ever retire, after what the thieves have done to our economy.
