What kind of trees are they...some only grow so tall/wide and that maybe should have been planned better but it is what it is now. Have you asked the tree owner to "top" the tree to slow it's upword climb? i am an amatuer at trees but from what i have read...some species of tree will fill out better after "topping" the tree.
