Obama Bowls for Pennsylvania Voters

Obama's attempts to get down with the blue collar people--what a joke! And there he was in a sports bar sipping beer with the PA guys and hallalujah, he was Jesus in a barn feeding a cow. He looked SO out of place among the people of central PA despite his attempts to be George-Bush-have-a-beer-with-me kinda guy. PA people are not stupid: they know that Obama has totally ignored the state and now wants to get jiggy with the working class on a single afternoon of appearances.

If I want inspiration, I'll put on a Marvin Gaye record.

Obama pretending to like bowling and beer doesn't do it for me. posted 03/30/2008 at 23:31:52

Obama: Clinton Can Run "As Long As She Wants"

Let's face it: no matter how much the BO people try to spin it, this race is tied and we're now in overtime. There is a split between the Obama leftists and the Clinton centrists. As long as it is a fair fight, either side will accept the outcome. But if either side feels that they have been scammed and the votes are not counted, then the nomination will lack legitimacy and McCain will sail into the White House on Dem crossover votes. MI and FL must be resolved and the remaining states must have their votes counted.

What's at stake now is not who gets the nomination, but whether or not the eventual winner can count on getting the votes who had voted for his or her opponent. If BO's or HC's supporters refuse to support the nominee because they feel they've been shafted by the process, then McCain wins.

In short, the Obama people, in calling for Hill's withdrawal, are causing great anger among Hill's supporters and they risk alienating them permanently should Obama win fairly throughout the remaining contests and with MI and FL votes counted.

This strategy of trying to psych out Hillary will only backfire and solidify her support. posted 03/30/2008 at 15:13:59

What is Obama Afraid Of? Clinton's Popular Vote Landslide?

Obama's minions in the MI legislature made it impossible to do a re-vote there. Obama'a claim of a new politics and wanting to bring more people into the process is absolute BS--he only wants to bring HIS people into the process and is trying to exclude Hillary's votes in FL. He's totally afraid of a do-over in MI. With demographics like OH and PA he would lose and lose BIG. Interesting and very hypocritical that he's willing to exclude so many people while preaching (and I do mean preaching) inclusion. When will the press call him out on this incredible scam? (Probably never as they're still in the tank as we all know.)

The strategy to use the press to put forward the "Hill can't win--do the math" talking point is backfiring and will cause more voters to come out for Hillary.

Come on: Obama is splitting the party by disenfranchising voters. It's not entirely true that Hill supporters will vote for McCain--it's more likely that they'll vote for a Dem congress and "none of the above" for Pres. Obama is, like George Bush, a divider not a uniter. Politics as usual--the same old hokey doke. posted 03/28/2008 at 23:26:38

Hillary And Bill: We Aren't Going Anywhere

COUNT THE VOTES! This is a democracy. The Obama scam is to pretend to be inclusive while behind closed doors he's working to exclude MI and FL and to shut down votes in PA and the remaining states. Why? He's afraid that he can't win and that Hillary will pull it out. It's entirely possible that Hillary's popular vote will surpass his in the remaining primaries. And if FL and MI had do-overs, she would certainly beat him. It says a lot about the Obama disciples that they would prefer a tainted victory to a fair fight. New politics? What a joke? Obama is dividing the party and will ensure a McCain victory if he contuinues this policy of excluding votes. "None of the above" is starting to look good if he's the nominee in Nov. posted 03/28/2008 at 23:41:41

Senator Leahy To Clinton: Drop Out

The game is tied and the old boys club wants Hillary to give up. NO WAY! If the situation were reversed--if Obama had won FL and MI and was slightly behind--anyone who called for BO to withdraw would be called a racist. There would be protests in the streets! It is absolutely outrageous to stop the game and call a victory for Obama.

It is also outrageous to blame the divisions on Hillary's supporters. The Obama people have slung more mud than the Clintons but have gotten away with it because of the media's willingness to push Obama's daily talking points.

I agree with Mayor Nutter that this is like calling the game in the 7th inning. LET THE PEOPLE VOTE! This drumbeat to get Hillary to give up is the oldest trick in the book--trying to demoralize her and her supporters. It's also the stupidest thing the Dems could do right now--after exclulding FL and MI (because it wouldn't benefit Obama), any move to exclude PA and the rest of the states would be a disaster for the Dems in the fall. Obama should want to win fair and square and respect the wioll of the voters. posted 03/28/2008 at 22:49:37

Dean Says Attacks Getting Too Personal

COUNT THE VOTES! Obama's campaign is filled with as many slimebags as Hillary's and BO's just as much an old politics candidate as Hillary--it's just that the media doesn't call them on it and the BO people know just how to play all the various cards without getting caught. Obama is trying to suppress the vote in FL and MI (and the remaining states by getting Hill to drop out)--the EXACT same thing that has been used against black voters for decades. Now HE's doing it and Dean is complicit. What a scam! In a fight to the end, Hillary will win. BO knows it and that's why he's trotting out people like Leahy to try to stop the process prematurely before he loses his razor thin lead.

If Hillary were the one trying to exclude voters in FL and MI there would be 2-inch headlines screaming across every paper in America that she was a racist. Nobody seem very upset that Hillary is being ROBBED of votes here. I am outraged. And I am also outraged that the media is so silent on this massive disenfranchisement of voters. The Obammington Post has also been silent. Big surprise. posted 03/28/2008 at 23:53:05

Chris Dodd: This Race Must End

Smears and Tears: How Obama's National Security Week Turned Into the Mendacity of Hype

When will the press stop feeding us Obama's daily talking points? It's a joke the way they are complicit in trying to make it look like this is over when actually it is a tie. And BO wants to disenfranchise FL and MI because he knows he'd lose there. Well, not counting their votes means that McCain will clean up in November. Thanks Obama for wrecking the Dem's chances. As for exaggeration, HRC's campaign has put out a list of BO's exaggerations. It's OBVIOUS that they're blowing Hillary's misstatement / exaggeration out of all proportion (with huge help from the media) in order to get Rev Wright off the front pages. It was a success but only temporarily. What Wright reveals about Obama will come back and back and back--Obama will not be able to shake it, no matter how many phony race speeches he gives. THANKS JOE WILSON for pointing out the Obama campaign's mendacity of hype. posted 03/26/2008 at 20:55:28

David Brooks Slams Hillary: "She Possesses The Audacity Of Hopelessness"

When the news cycle gets a grip on the fact that BO has disenfranchised MI by getting his friends in the MI legislature to kill the revote, he's going to look like the same old same old hack politician that he really is. Win at any cost--if that means trashing the party and dumping on MI and FL, Obama doesn't care. If Obama cared about the party, he would favor a revote and welcome the chance to win fairly. Unfortunately, if he wins in this way, it will look like a "fix" (or it will certainly be presented that way by the Repubs) and he will hnever recover from the taint of illegitimacy. Too bad he doesn't care about winning fairly. New politics? WHAT A JOKE! posted 03/25/2008 at 01:27:00

McCain Benefits From Protracted Democratic Race

I think what's happening is the evolution of a third party in US politics. Obama represents the left wing of the party and Hillary is the center. This split has been apparent in the party since McCarthy and McGovern, et al. and now it's coming apart at the seams. Perhaps this is why the campaign has become so bitter--the 2 sides know that there's no going back. The country will never elect Obama if and will probably opt for split government, voting for a Dem congress and a Repub White House. This might happen with Hillary as the nominee also. But without FL and MI in the Dem nominating process, it's going to be McCain. End of story. posted 03/25/2008 at 01:05:42

Obama's Grandmother

I have never agreed with Ann Coulter in my life but I agree with her on this point: that Obama made the decision to throw grandma under the bus rather than distance himself from Rev Wright. TPO use your grandmother in this way, to make her seem like a "typical white person" (=thinly veiled racist) is just disgusting. It shows what kind of a person Obama is--someone who would run over his own grandmother to get out of a tight p.r. spot. That woman helped to raise him! Rev. Wright did not, yet Obama seems to feel more loyalty to Wright. Poor Grandma, to be used in this shameless way. She must be totally mortified to be publicly hung out to dry like this. posted 03/25/2008 at 01:36:34

The Politics of Hating Your Spouse

The only thing wrong with this excellent article is that it doesn't admit that this split has already happened. The last nail in the coffin was Obama's supporters in the MI legislature killing the revote there. BO is willing to trash the party, disenfranchise voters in 2 states that Dems must have in Nov because of his massive Messiah complex. If MI and FL revoted, Obama would not win the nomination, so he's preventing DEMOCRACY from running its course. He would prefer to win on a technicality. Yeah, the new politics. Same old hokey doke. The only way his nomination would be legitimate would be if MI and FL voted. As a Hillary supporter, if he won these states fair and square, I would vote for him in November. posted 03/25/2008 at 01:19:49

Do As I Say, Not As I Do: Bill Richardson Explains Why The Other Superdelegates Should Vote With Their States

BR's endorsement counts for nothing at this point. Obama is a hypocrite for shutting down the re-vote in FL and MI. Goodbye general election if this now-tainted candidate manages to get the nomination. BO os just like any other politician. Says one thing and does another but wraps it in that BS rhetoric. He only spoke about race when he was forced to by the Wright debacle. Can't understand why there's so much praise from the left wing about how "courageous" it was. It would have been truly courageous if he had spoken about it earlier, not just as an attempt to wriggle out of a desperate p.r. situation. He's very clever, gotta give him that. The "typical white person" remark was probably closer to what he really thinks about race and that idea is resonating throughout the blogosphere despite the positive spin the MSM is putting on it. The nomination process feels tainted without FL and MI and BO obstructed the revote. Shows who he really is. Not the Baby Jesus, that's for sure. Here in central PA the BS of BO and BO doesn't go over very well. posted 03/24/2008 at 11:57:41

Michigan, Florida, and the L-word

Obama's a hypocrite. Obstructing the re-vote in FL and MI shows that he's just as much a slimeball politician as everyone else and gives the lie to his holier than thou "new politics." If he get s the nomination, it will be tainted and everyone will know that if there had been a proper vote with ALL the votes counted that Hillary probably would have won. It will be just like Bush-Gore with one difference: Obama will not win the general election. Voters in FL and MI will not forget that he disenfranchised them and SACRIFICED THE ELECTION for his own gain. Obama=HYPOCRITE! posted 03/24/2008 at 11:48:42
