I am a medical/health advocate and public relations consultant, who is committed to helping people change the ways in which they relate to our medical system and medical professionals. My commitment stems from the years I spent as the wife of my wonderful late husband, Tim Fisher, who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in 1990, and died in 2005. Together, we experienced our medical system at its technological best and its chaotic, uncaring worst. I created www.HonestMedicine.com, in honor and memory of Tim -- my inspiration from the day we met 30 years ago. I am now in the process of writing a book about some very innovative, non-toxic, inexpensive treatments that doctors don’t usually prescribe. I hope to educate the public about them, so that they can educate their doctors.
