John McCain: Obama Unfit To Protect The United States

Here's an interesting article about Ahmadinejad's so called "wiped off the map" statement.

The Daily Show's Primary Wrap: West Virginia And A Chris Matthews "Douche-Off" (VIDEO)

In WV over 90,000 people (mostly "white rural") voted for Obama. Considering Bill Clinton is VERY popular out there, those numbers really aren't that bad. Sure, there are some racists out there, and in other states as well, but I think that Clinton's large margin was based on the papularity of Bill Clinton.

If John Mc Cain wins Kentucky in November, I don't think it will be by the same margin Clinton won. posted 05/15/2008 at 15:07:00

Before Bitter-Gate: What Obama Said Hours Earlier About Guns

"Grade inflation", interesting point Myshkin57. WHose to say Bush getting Cs was not "grade inflation"? He might have really been a D/F student but "passed" along as a C student because of his connections. posted 05/13/2008 at 15:10:29

Obama's Reverend Wright Press Conference (VIDEO)

Many "megachurch" pastors become arrogant and begin to trust in their "ministries", Phds, etc. The Press Club spectacle by Wright was a display of arrogance and cockiness that erased the positive exposure from the Bill Moyers interview and the NAACP dinner. posted 04/29/2008 at 16:18:00

Clinton emphatically says Obama can win White House

If you notice, when Barack Obama speaks in many cases he makes a lot of pauses and says "um" several times in a sentence. To some listeners, this is a distraction.

Hillary Clinton speaks with less pauses. At times she says "you know", but it's usually not a distraction.

Clinton has always been good at debates, and she articulated her positions well.

Many people will agree that Clinton won the debate, and I will not dispute that. I do believe that Obama also won due to three words Clinton said, "Yes, yes, yes!" posted 04/17/2008 at 01:27:33

Polygamist Ranch Women: We Were Tricked Into Giving Up Our Children

According to the reports, a 16 young woman reported being abused. She should have been removed along with the alleged abuser and an investigation should have been underway. All of the children should have never been removed. The children should be returned to their parents immediately. posted 04/15/2008 at 18:18:35

Polygamist Sects: A Lesson In Style

Here in Los Angeles there are many young women (under 18) walking around half naked, and in the summer it gets worse. Although these FLDS women's attire may seem a little outdated, I'd rather see young women, especially under the age of 18, dress more like them and less like the women you see in strip clubs. posted 04/17/2008 at 02:00:35

I Was There: What Obama Really Said About Pennsylvania

Mr. Coleman, thank you for bringing context. It's sad that your post is not on the front page and therefore will not be viewed by many. Ms. Mayhill's post has been viewed over 250,000 times. If you read all of her posts, it's obvious she is biased against Obama. It's ok to have a favorite candidate, but news reporting should not be biased. Also, isn't it illegal to secretly record a meeting and broadcast it? Didn't this meeting discuss campaign strategy? Wasn't that why Nixon got in all that trouble over the Watergate scandal? posted 04/14/2008 at 13:34:28

Man Arrested In Polygamy Compound Raid

I don't know much about the details of this case, but my grandparents were from the south and married at a young age (grandmother 15, gradfather 19). She would probably be considered a "child bride" by today's standards.

Polygamy among consenting adults is a much better lifestyle than men having a wife and sneaking around with other women, prostitutes etc. If the man is emotionally, physically and financialy able to take care of more than one, and be a good father to his children, then he should be able to do that.

Also being able to pool resources among various adults may be of help during this economic downturn. posted 04/07/2008 at 18:20:15

Kos: Clinton's "Destructive Coup Attempt" Good For Democrats

It's also important to note that the heavy campaigning in the rermaining cities and states will to help the local merchants and local economies (especially if the campaigns pay their bills on time).

That alone may be a good reason for Clinton to stay in the race "until the end". At least we know the money being raised for the candidates is being recycled and helping American businesses in American cities. posted 04/06/2008 at 22:39:16

Patriotism in the Kingian Tradition

On Obama Not Going to Memphis

I understand why Obama wasn't there. Because of the fervency of his supporters, especially in the African American community, in my opinion, him being there would have been a distraction from what the event was supposed to be about, honoring Dr. King.

Rather than be in a photo opt, Obama is trying to do his part. I believe the discussion of King, who said some "controversial" things about America will put the Jeremiah Wright comments in its proper perspective. posted 04/06/2008 at 23:51:04

Flashback: Wright's Letter To NYT About Obama

It's interesting, Wright dealt with the print media on this one year ago (March 07). I believe he is going to emerge from this years smear campaign a hero. He will probably apologize for using some of his most offensive language, and then rebuke the media for taking his sermons out of context. He should submit his own clips and soundbites of positive statements including comments where he talks about the love for all races, etc. posted 03/28/2008 at 12:33:56

Michigan, Florida, and the L-word

"According to news reports, the Obama campaign had a lot to do with that outcome"

C'mon now Mr. Keyssar. Do you believe everything you hear on the news?

Ask yourself, if the tables were turned and Clinton was in the lead, would this even be an issue?

I'll give the answer, NO!

One of the Clinton's "kitchen sink" tactics is to pin the blame on Obama for the no revote. There is NO evidence to substantiate that claim.

She also said it's "un American" not to have those votes counted, another subtle remark that he's not patriotic.

This is an issue the states have to take up with the DNC and NOT Obama. posted 03/24/2008 at 00:18:00

Meet The (White) Man Who Inspired Wright's Controversial Sermon

I believe more of this type of thing is to come. Obama will be totally vindicated. Fox News and the others who ran with the false story will be humbled.

Many people have underestimated Senator Obama's intelligence and political expertise. He knew this Wright attack was coming, and is prepared. The good stuff is just beginning. By the PA primary Obama will be seen as someone who is loyal, stands up to pressure and has good judgment to be commander and chief. posted 03/21/2008 at 17:38:54

I believe, Obama will be on the major Fox news programs at the right time. The MSM, especially Fox will be exposed for demonizing Pastor Wright by totally taking his comments out of context. Obama will be exonerated for not throwing Wright "under the bus". After that, he will make his rounds on the Fox programs. posted 03/21/2008 at 12:39:31
