The Second Vote

I must disagree. I have ONE vote - that's a vote for what is best for America. This will be better for some people in the world and worse for others. I don't expect anyone else to cast the votes in their country based on what is best for ME, I encourage them to vote for their own interest.

In this case - much of the world would be happy with my decision. Cool. But frankly, if they aren't they can really bite my ass. Being American means looking out for America (and having good world relations is only one small part). Sometimes other countries aren't going to like us - as long as WE like ourselves, that shouldn't matter.

I am not happy with what our country has become, and as an American I'm working to change things. But I sure don't want a bunch of Europhucks getting in our political business. posted 06/08/2008 at 12:27:04

Did she serve in an elected office and give Obama the job of pushing health care through congress in the 90's? Did she use powers of elective office to grant pardons during an administration Obama is using to pad his resume?

Hillary and Bill Behaving Badly

I fully believe that they are willing to help McCain. I just don't think there is much bite left to their bark.

Their strength was that they were democratic leaders well loved for what they had done for the party. I don't know if that translates into their supporters abandoning the democratic party - love for the Clintons grew from love of the party.
