I am a 57 year old mother of 3 grown children whom I can be quite proud of as they are productive and caring human beings. I was in college in the late 60's and early 70's and am appalled to see how our country has devolved since then. We had such dreams for the future and now the neo-cons/fundamentalist Christians seem to have nailed up that coffin of hope and dreams of peace. I am hoping for peace, freedom, honesty and truth for the future but that seems a futile hope except for those who are struggling for a progressive movement around the world.
