Born in the Midwest (God help me), stuck in a Red state. Married, mother of five, grandmother of five, 40-something years old. Democrat. Overcame life-long spoon-fed biases through literature, television and becoming a non-traditional student. We are supposedly all God's children, but lately, I'm not so sure.
