The Terrorist in the $10 Gallon Hat

I hate horrible regimes too and Chavez' is not one of them. However Bush's is! Look no further than the White House for the demon in the gas prioce fiasco. Chavez doesn't hate America, he hates Bush. Gee, me too! posted 07/04/2008 at 13:07:10

How's this, dogbreath? "Your grasp of causality is atrocious; your ability to keep your head in the sand is appalling."

Some decry the use of the semicolon and say we should not be so stuffy and instead use commas. Therefore, I think you are the grammar challanged one (as well as logic challanged). posted 07/03/2008 at 18:13:25

Riding In A Fighter Plane And Getting Shot Down And What It Qualifies You For

Well, rightie-tightie, it's because he is a real life general with a spotless military record and therefore (in the eyes of the right wing) a true patriot. Or is that only if he thinks as you do? You guys really get me! posted 07/03/2008 at 10:30:05

Stephen Baldwin On Fox News: If Obama Wins, I'll Leave The Country

After 8 years of being told to get out of the USA if I didn't like the way Bush was running it (into the ground), I will say to Stephen, this is your country as well as mine and you are entitled to your opinions and your place here. However, if you wish to leave (I wish I had), please feel free to go. It is the dawning of the age of Aquarius though and the people will reign over the wealthy few at last. Where in the world will you find a haven for greed and intolerance? How sad for you. Peace. posted 07/01/2008 at 15:23:53

What George Carlin Told Me About the Afterlife and What He'd Like on His Tombstone

John Cusack Talks Politics With Keith Olbermann (VIDEO)

HEY! DID YOU NOTICE THE GUYS IN IOWA NOT RETURNING THE DESPERATE WAVES OF BUSH? Now THAT was funny. Or was it hateful, biased and witless (I think you just described the Republican Party from the top down!)? You guys crack me up. posted 06/22/2008 at 12:17:42

Press Dissatisfied With Treatment From Obama Campaign

You MUST be kidding! I've rarely heard an orator finer than Obama and Bush is the exact opposite of that. He is barely able to string words together to make one coherent sentence much less a speech. You are in a dream world. Why don't you listen to Obama yourself for awhile and not through the filter of the MSM who distorts and spins until the unwitting listener or reader (that's you) is dizzy and can't tell up from down. posted 06/19/2008 at 21:31:47

Michael Moore To Publish Election Guide

It's a GUIDE and I use them all the time to help me sort out the wheat from the chaff. When I don't know a candidate or a proposition on the ballot, I look to see who is endorsing them and who is against them and then I know where I want to be. Better than not voting or guessing. I look forward to his book. He's A-OK in mine! posted 06/14/2008 at 11:46:35

Obama Moves To The Center

He had an almost identical voting record as Hillary. It's a joke really to think that he is far left. He is FAR too right for me, as I was a Kucinich supporter. I will vote for Obama and I like to hear him talk purty but I only gave money to Kucinich, never to the Democratic Party and not to Obama either. They do not represent real reform and Washington needs a total overhaul, nothing less! I just can't take another Republican in the Whitehouse. Please God. posted 06/13/2008 at 15:09:39

Katie Couric Is Rubber And Keith Olbermann Is Glue

Thank you for that, I was a Kucinich supporter then an Edwards supporter and now by default, I support Obama. I was sorely disappointed that neither Obama nor Clinton stood up for Kucinich's right to participate in the debates. Such is our democracy! (Not a word on his behalf did either of them utter) posted 06/12/2008 at 15:56:23

Sorry, Mr. President, But Your Legacy Is More Awful Than You Think

jfor, it is unattractive to talk perjoritively about a group of people you don't know, especially when you aren't in that group. Such as, if I were to say that the X Generation is a pathetic, apathetic, lazy, greedy bunch who wouldn't take responsibility for their own bowel movements if their lives depended on it, why that would be wrong. No matter how true it may be. Have you ever tried to get one to vote? Hell no!

I'm a boomer and I have voted in every national election, every primary election and most local elections since I was of voting age. I'm 61 now. I raised two lovely daughters mostly by myself and they are sterling citizens and never were the least bit bratty or spoiled, I saw to that!

I would appreciate it if you would lay off the gross generalizations and speak in specific terms about specific people. Bush ain't one of me. None of those A$$holes is in my group. The only true things you can say for the Boomer generation is that there are more of us than there are of you...and we are getting more crotchety by the second! Also we are the product of good public education (which doesn't exist anymore) and we don't take crap from anyone. Got it? posted 06/11/2008 at 21:12:53

Dennis Kucinich Sums It Up

It's not just that we are angry at what this president has done to our country and want to see him punished, (although, are we a nation of laws or not?), it is that if we don't do something to stop him, he will bomb Iran without regard for what we want or think. We also need to stop Congress from continuing to soil themselves by giving in to this extortionist and his thug loser nerds. posted 06/13/2008 at 16:39:18

The Importance Of Electing Al Franken

I'm a native Californian and I didn't vote for Clinton or Obama in the primary. Remember when we voted there were a few more candidates. Even though Kucinich had dropped out of the race (forced out), he was on the ballot and I voted for him. If I had not voted for him I would have voted for Edwards. Had I been given the choice of Clinton or Obama, I would have voted for Obama, in a heartbeat. Note that my choices were the most progressive to the least. Clinton is the least progressive and the most willing to go along with Bush's policies. I don't like that. I also don't feel her connection to the people. I don't feel her, dog!

And Ida, how did you feel when our bastardized population voted for Ahnold for governor??? What a shame! posted 06/08/2008 at 10:47:14
Meatballs, you know that pinko stuff went out in the 70s. There is not a communist under your bed, you budding Joe McCarthy! Now our epithet is "Republican!". Whenever you want to note someone's greed, love of money over people, total disregard for the planet on which we live, self-centered entitlement behavior, you call them a Republican. Pinko? That's all you got?

So are you loyal to your party or your country, sometimes you can't have it both ways. posted 06/08/2008 at 10:38:27

Hillary Loses Again

You know whatm Owlygirl? I agree with Chuckbutcher because it is folly to fall in love with a politician...ANY politician. Do you know when I learned this? When Bill Clinton failed us with his incapacity for self-control and his leading the Democratic Party into the PAC and lobbyist business.. I thought he loved the people but it seems he loved power and glory more.

I look at Obama with jaundiced eye. I love his charisma and ability to inspire and motivate us (after a long dry spell of nonsense from Bush) but I have learned that we the people MUST elect our guy (or gal) and watch them like a hawk! We have a responsibility to be a part of our government, whether they like it or not. They have woken up the sleeping giant (well part of him, anyway!) and we must be vigilant. They are the foxes and our country is the henhouse. They should never have done that.. posted 06/07/2008 at 19:29:12

By elitismfighter, I see you mean you are against intelligence, and may I say you are doing a very good job of representing! Speaking for adzeman, he didn't mean to say he hates America, it's that we have been making too many mistakes in this country and the world. Do you believe that to love your country that you have to agree with EVERYTHING our government does? Does that mean that when Obama is president, you will still agree with everything he does because he is our president? If you criticize him will that mean you hate America? Wow, so many things to think of! Elitism is HARD! posted 06/06/2008 at 15:49:29

Arianna On Leno: Talks About Obama's Nomination, VP Options

Obama is a centrist not a hard core leftist, by any stretch of the imagination. I will be happy to vote for him because of his ability to lead and inspire a beaten down citizenry. But he is not nearly progressive enough, at least in his Senate voting, for my taste.

Dora, no, I'm gonna call you Condi, because that's who you remind me of, if you don't like Obama, you'd downright HATE me. I voted for Kucinich in the California primary because he was the only one progressive enough for me. We need a complete overhaul not a bandaid on the mess that has been made of our government. Nothing less will heal what ails us.. posted 06/06/2008 at 16:36:54

Barack Obama has shown nothing but class in dealing with Clinton. He would have been gracious in defeat, I have no doubt about that. Not only that but can you imagine Hillary even remotely considering Barack for VP??? Not on your life, sister!

Obama has acknowledged that this election is not about him, but about our country and taking it back from those who have damaged it. He knows that, we know that but Clinton thinks it's "all about HER." Listen to her speech and count the "I"s. They are many. posted 06/05/2008 at 11:07:05

Former British Tabloid Editor Wins "Celebrity Apprentice"

I was embarrassed to be an American too. But for the opposite reason as you, b4beachwagon. The emphasis on greed over character is what is dragging this country down and is responsible for the pathetic state of our government.

You think Piers is well-spoken because he speaks with a British accent but the way he has to not just win but annihilate his opponents shows that he has no class at all. This is not a negative in Trump's world as he himself has no class. The only people who like him are other rich, arrogant aholes or wannabes.

Journalists are pretty low on the admirable scale and tabloid journalists are the lowest of the low. He has sold his humanity for $$$. And, by the way, anyone who thinks he really gives a damn about the military has fallen hook, line and sinker for his schmaltzy bs. He picked a charity that no one would EVER question the sincerity of. He got you, SUCKER! posted 03/29/2008 at 12:59:48
