Chris Noth Replaced On "Law & Order" By Jeff Goldblum

Too bad. I love Chris Noth, and I know I'm in the minority, but I don't really like the Vincent episodes because they're all about him. His poor partner barely gets any lines, makes few discoveries, and is the perennial sidekick. Yes, Vincent's a great actor, but to see Kathryn Erbe reduced to watching Vincent's wheels turn in his head just gets to be a bit much. At least with the Noth episodes, there was a BALANCE in who solved the crime. posted 06/27/2008 at 09:38:30

Novak: Powell Will Endorse Obama

Too bad he didn't use it. He was a freakin' soldier, for Pete's sake! He knew better than any of them what a war would bring, and he went to the UN anyway! I can't say it enough: Powell is a total disappointment and would be poison to the Obama campaign. He generates ZERO enthusiasm from the Democratic base and we honestly just don't need him. And P.S. We don't need him in the cabinet either. He's already proven he's incapable of serving in an honorable way. posted 06/26/2008 at 10:37:06
Powell would be a nightmare! I would have trouble supporting that ticket and I worked my butt off for the Obama campaign. He did not go along "kicking and screaming." He WENT ALONG WILLINGLY. He's a grown man. He didn't have to go along with what he knew in his heart was wrong. Powell is a sell-out. He sold us this war. He was the ONE PERSON in that damn administration who could have put a stop to it all by saying, "I resign. I cannot support this action." Instead, he lied to all of us and to the world. He should be ashamed of himself and I honestly don't know how he sleeps at night. He's trying desperately to rehabilitate his image, but I would be disappointed and angry beyond words if he uses Obama to do it. Thumbs ALL THE WAY DOWN to Powell. posted 06/26/2008 at 10:34:52

What a bummer. I was really looking forward to seeing this with my family during the holiday. We'll still go, because the critics have been wrong before, but this does put a damper on things, sad to say. posted 06/29/2008 at 08:31:05

Author Of 'Obama Can't Win' Book Doesn't Believe Himself

Steele is an idiot. I actually took classes from him about 25 years ago when he was a professor at San Jose State University. At the time, I had no idea of his political leanings, and to find out later that he was so confused was indeed a huge disappointment. What I have come to believe about Steele is that he has a plantation mentality, and he feels it is his duty to make sure "massa's" world never gets rocked. There is always one slave wiling to tell massa how all the others plan to escape: "They's down by the river, massa!" --thinking this will somehow win him favor--maybe an extra piece of chicken, or in this case, a book deal. I think it is poetic justice that he is now a laughing stock.

As an aside, his IDENTICAL TWIN brother, Claude Steele, is not the least bit confused--a great researcher. I've heard the two don't speak. posted 06/25/2008 at 08:12:21

Jolie Vs. Jen: Angelina And Aniston To Battle It Out In October

Poor Jennifer Aniston. She can't make a mov(i)e without Brad and Angelina always showing up in her face. It's just got to be painful--still--to have every project to do or every vacation you take somehow connected to the supercouple and family of Brad and Angelina. And, even though Jen's movie will do well, Angelina's will win the critics and she'll get an Oscar! I don't even hate Brad and Angelina, but imagine if you were just trying to DO YOUR JOB, and your ex and his or her fabulous new partner just kept popping up, trumping you every time, winning awards that you'd like to win one day, having kids you'd hope to have one day. Kathleen Sebelius, Completing The Obama Puzzle

Thank you! I live in KS too! :-) posted 06/10/2008 at 16:06:17
No...What's crazy is expecting a solid, supportive answer out of HRC when the inevitable questions get asked: "Senator Clinton, don't you consider it a bit of a slap in the face that Senator Obama chose a woman, and it wasn't you?" HRC: "Well, she's a perfectly good candidate as far as I know..." To ignore this unfortunate reality is naive. As I said, I reallyl love Kathleen Sebelius, but I think HRC has ruined it for any other woman this time around. I know we're not supposed to say anything negative about her now, but this is sadly the truth. posted 06/10/2008 at 16:05:41
I love Sebelius...I live in KS and she's fantastic. My ONLY concern is about what we know we'll hear from some folks--that we substituted one woman for another, thinking that any woman would work. That is literally my only worry about her being on the ticket. People who just want to see drama would spend the rest of the campaign asking Hillary how she felt about not being picked, and I fear HRC wouldn't give enough of a good answer to this question, and we'd be screwed all over again. posted 06/10/2008 at 14:17:14

HuffPo: Great picture of HRC... Thanks for that. And bravo to Hillary. This was a tough day for her, but she looked fantastic. I have been very angry at her, but today reminded me about what I used to really love about her. She's a great, great politician and servant of this country. And she's a Democrat. Clinton For Vice President Movement Disavowed By Campaign

Her attempts to bum-rush her way onto the ticket simply backfired. Now she's got to appear uninterested. My greatest fear is that even this is orchestrated, and that Obama told her to do it so he could pick her somewhere down the line and have it appear to be his choice. I would vomit. I really hope he doesn't pick this lying, backstabbing, "bleep". If he does, we will forever see the clip of her saying, "I have experience, Senator McCain has experience...Barack Obama has a speech he made in 2002." We can NEVER forget how shitty she was to him. The Repubs won't, and she's death to the ticket. She really needs to go away and let us rejoice in our candidate! Well, for one, MItchell is very pro-Clinton, and was on the plane when Hillary and Chelsea took cover from the sniper fire, but you never heard Mitchell ONCE say that Hillary was lying. Mitchell waited and waited until it was obvious that the story wasn't going away to even acknowledge that Hillary "mispoke." But you have to ask why Mitchell never spoke up, or why her colleagues on MSNBC didn't say, "Hey wait, Andrea, weren't YOU on that plane? What really happened?" Reuters: "Somebody Forgot To Tell Hillary Clinton The Democratic Presidential Race Is Over And Barack Obama Won"

Hillary"s lie about taking sniper-fire isn"t just a wild fish-story in which she exaggerates events. Hillary Rodham Clinton essentially told the world that a foreign government shot at her! Think about it. Really think about the ramifications of that. She"s got everyone thinking of the image of a lone "sniper" hiding in the hills, but in fact, if we peel away the layers of her lie a bit, she basically implicated a foreign government in committing a hostile act toward the United States when that was not true. That"s incredibly HUGE. We were told by the Bush Administration that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction when he did not. We were told that there was danger headed our way. Is Hillary"s lie about a foreign government any less significant? We"re getting caught up in the use of the word "sniper" and we"re missing the bigger point. The reality is that she claimed we were attacked by a foreign government. posted 03/27/2008 at 14:22:13

She is a diplomatic nightmare. Her word is not reliable, and that is putting it mildly. Before we send our brave troops in to fight anywhere on this planet, we need to be able to believe the facts presented to us as evidence. We can"t wonder if the facts are in dispute because the person telling us the story has lied to us in the past. posted 03/27/2008 at 18:41:32

Bill Clinton To Obama Campaign: "Let's Just Saddle Up And Have An Argument"

Hope he knows that means EVERYTHING IS ON THE TABLE NOW!! Including his sleazy affair. And Chelsea will be asked about it...AGAIN. And we'll have the right to bring it up because Bill said it's time to saddle up and fight and that to complain about how dirty things get is just being a wimp. If he wants to dig around Obama's past, then we'll have to drag up his past again too. That's basically what he's asking for. He's basically saying, "Hey, let's just take off the gloves and slug it out." So, that means it's okay to ask Hillary why she stuck by Bill when he cheated on her, because she's made it an issue that people should dump someone who does or says things that are not in keeping with your personal values. She's said that Obama should have dumped Wright. But she, I'm sorry... IS THE POSTER CHILD for sticking with someone WHO IS NOT A RELATIVE, even though they may have flaws. She has no interest in debating the issues anymore. She's on FOX tonight, talking about Rev. Wright. Isn't it odd that THE ONLY person bringing this up is A FELLOW DEMOCRAT??? Chelsea Clinton Has Quick Response For Lewinsky Question

It means EVERYTHING is fair game...AGAIN!! And HRC supporters--get ready! If she somehow steals this nomination, we're going to be STUCK with these kinds of nonsense issues AGAIN!! I honestly can't believe the Democratic Party would support a candidate that brings so much crap to the table...and also voted for the WAR! It boggles the mind. Heilemann, Like Noonan, Suggests That Clinton Camp May Be Fracturing

I have a sinking feeling that HRC is going to steal this nomination. She's just deplorable. She knows the only way to win is to trash Obama and sway supers to her side. She really hopes he loses to McCain, and for that, I'll never vote for her. I will write in Obama's name before I ever punch a chad for her. I can't believe that with this economy and with this war, a Republican is going to win again because HRC refuses to see the writing on the wall and we're stuck fighting her, Bill, and McCain, along with the media who has nothing better to do than watch us squabble! I can't take it anymore. She's tacky, classless, and is just a sorry human being. She's been a sore loser. We expect more out of 5 year olds than we've gotten from the Clintons. And the irony is...If she had lost with grace after Iowa, and decided early on to make this a great campaign for our party--with both of them criss-crossing the country spreading our message, SHE'D BE WINNING RIGHT NOW!! And if she won fair and square, I'd be happy to vote for her in the fall. But this has gone on long enough, and the media wants us to be in a "close race" when she's already actually lost. posted 03/23/2008 at 20:38:40
