Obama Casts Race Between Him, McCain

Rev Wright, Hagee, Rev. Wright Hagee!!...There you go with that patriot garble. Maybe he should walk around with the flag. I'm sure Bush wears the flag pin on his lapel and look what he has done to this country. By the way i believe that was the National Anthem not the Pledge of Allegiance and you don't have to put your hands on your chest for that. posted 04/01/2008 at 23:37:14
lol..lol...nice try...You fail to realize how much of a pass McCain is getting right now. There will be alot to come out. I would think with all the drama on the Democratic side McCain would have a double digit lead. (thats how week he is) I can't wait for the debates because thats where the fun starts. I just hope McCain could stay awake! posted 04/01/2008 at 23:20:37

Both Obama and Clinton has been hammered by the media these past couple weeks. McCain is the one receiving a pass right now!.. With Liberman bailing him out on several occasions on foreign policy and this is suppose to be his strongest issue. He went on the record saying gov. shouldn't help Americans for their mistakes yet he is for bailing out the cooperations. Why isn't this being reported?..The gop can't take care of anyting. Op-Ed: Obama Was The First To Play Race Card

I guess Hillary's comment that "the big boys are bullying the woman" isn't considered sexiest??....Yet Hillary's supporters don't have a problem with that....She's a woman, he's a black man, everyone just get over it!! posted 03/30/2008 at 18:53:22
Could anyone tell me what's the benefit of Obama playing the race card, when whites are the majority in this country, blacks only account for 13% of the population, and he's tried to run a post racial candidacy...the last thing he wants is to be labelled as the "black candidate"

I'm open minded about this could anyone give me the logic here. posted 03/30/2008 at 18:32:26
Neither Hillary or Obama will ever come right out and say certain things..They will allow surrogates to say it then denounce it when it's already being circulated. I'm also referring to Ferraro saying he is where he is because he's black. I do believe the SC comment was to undermine Obama's win by making it seem like any black candidate can win SC. posted 03/30/2008 at 18:25:53

Could you tell me one benefit Obama has playing the race card when the majority of the country is white and the AA community only amounts to about 13% of the population. It makes no sense. He has tried to run a campaign post race and the last thing he wants, is to be labelled as the black candidate. Why coundn't Bill just congratulate him on his victory in SC and leave it as that, instead of making that stupid off hand comment. Why did Ferraro say he is in this position because he's black. How about he's run a better campaign than Hillary Clinton!! The same argument could have been made that Hillary is only where she is because she is a woman or the wife of Bill Clinton. I don't recall anyone from the Obama campaign saying that!....For the record the Clintons aren't racist, they're just race baiting. They've been trying to portray Obama as the "black candidate" posted 03/30/2008 at 17:31:32

They feel Obama is new and has to "pay his dues" (when Hillary is the one who hasn't been paying anything).. To your point about "with all that money he should have a huge lead", lets not forget he was once down by 20 points in the national polls and now he is ahead, how about he's ahead in # of states, popular vote and Hillary has no chance of catching up in pledge delegates. Since super tues he's gained about 40 superdelegates and Hillary has lost 5.... i think he's doing pretty well, money well spent.!!!! posted 03/31/2008 at 01:41:55
You're right about that. I believe they thought she had this nomination wrapped up and failed to plan sufficiently for any opposition. What point are you trying to make here..

"Many campaigns have this problem"...Obama doesn't!!
..Clinton money comes from these rich elitist who at first gave millions and thought she had the nomination handed to her. It's hard for them to keep giving a $1 million every month, unlike Obama who has over a million donors who can afford to give $20 every month.

"The Hart Campaign in 1984 did too!"
you comparing 1984 to 2008?..With the internet, it's much EASIER to get money then 24yrs ago. It's finding those that actually want to donate to your campaign!

"Clinton leads Obama...."
We've known this "reality check" for quite some time, and 50 yrs and older has always been her demographic..Obama has always been the younger voters. Show me a her leading in younger voters then i will be concerned. posted 03/30/2008 at 17:55:03

Are you aware that 20 % of Clinton and Obama's supporters said they would vote for McCain if their candidate didn't win the nomination. She sees where this is going and she backed the candidate who is in the lead. Whats wrong with all you Clinton supporters. First they mad because Richardson supported Obama now they're mad because Pelosi speaks out. You vote for your candidate let them chose theirs, enough with all the hurt feelings.

Just like in the debates we've seen him improve with each one so i think with every attack he will get stronger. He already showed resilience with the Wright issue. I'm more concerned with the fact that a poll showed about 20% of Hillary supportes said they would vote McCain if Obama won the nomination and It was about the same for Obama supporters. Did you listen to the speech??

I don't recall #1) being addressed, but no one was really concerned about that. (including the media)

#2) He did address that saying those words were were not his views and he doesn't agree with them.

#3) He did address that the media was only showing sound bites reducing 35yrs of ministry to 30 secs.

#4) He addressed this and said he loves this country and doesn't share these fews of his Rev. He also said this Rev. has served this country in the millitary.

#5) He did denounce and condemn these words in his speech.

...."those statements" are the ones shown on the tape. That's what he said he never heard. You have yet to tell me what was soo bad and terribly inaccurate about the Rev's sermon. posted 03/23/2008 at 03:12:07
you want to talk about QUOTES..

."there is nothing in the offending graph which suggest that this refers to Obama's position on NAFTA".

"Senator Clinton and her husband championed NAFTA, work on behalf of NAFTA, called in a victory etc..until she started running for president"..

these are from your link!! THANKS :) posted 03/23/2008 at 03:00:32
lets see....by the time the election comes around people will realize their houses have depreciated another $10,000, gas prices probably $5 a gallon, mortgage companies get bailed out by the Gov. while you put a "for sale" sign on your lawn, jobs are shipped overseas and americans get laid off, 1000's more die in the war and billions more are spent a week while hurricane Kutrina victims still live in deplorable conditions..lol..WOW! some people never learn!! I hope all you get a 1st hand experience with McCain's policies. posted 03/23/2008 at 02:41:03
lol..They say ignorance is bliss, so you must be living in a Utopia JJ.
#1) he was denying the fact that Clinton said Obama's aid told Canada that he was just joking about NAFTA and he wouldn't do anything to reform it"...Lets not forget Clinton was on the front line for NAFTA before her presidential run and now she hates it.
#2) He said he will talk to his advisors to work out a plan to start withdrawing the troops within 16 months. Clinton said she would have them out in 60 days. What's more logical.
#3) He knew about controversial statements made by his pastor and he always admitted that. He said he hadn't heard the ones being played over and over on the media......For the record you should listen to more than sound bites and you will realize alot of what the pastor said was true!1

A CHEAT AND LIAR. Enough with the emotion and opinion. Why you feel that way? Show me some facts that allowed you to come to that conclusion. posted 03/23/2008 at 01:47:45
I did watch it and you're right. It was a quote and the news has fooled us all. But sue fox news, come on thats a stretch. Get a hold of yourself. lol posted 03/23/2008 at 01:40:04
I went to your link...nice one lol.....Obama knows Rezko and Rekzo knows another guy and this other guy knows another guy who knows another guy who funded Saddam, therefore Obama knows Saddam....lol...You have to come stronger than that partner!!..Soon enough i might have ties with Obama. I'm not even gonna go into Clinton's illegitimate dealings because i don't think you support her either. I think you some republican on here trying to start stuff. posted 03/23/2008 at 01:35:25
sanity you were a bit radical with that closing statement..lol..However, "dexter" you say thats hate speech so lets examine a few FACTS here. Do you deny the atomic bomb was ever drop, also killing innocent people?..."American's chicken has come home to roost" was a direct quote from the former U S ambassador who said America was also killing innocent people not just militants. Do you deny black men were injected with syphilis and used as test subjects?(reference to the AIDS statement). All what i said were FACTS, i could go on. Could you let me know where there was HATE speech. posted 03/23/2008 at 01:15:20
A couple things...Hillary has more years in the SENATE but Obama has more LEGISLATIVE experience than Clinton. She has 8 yrs, Obama has 12yrs, and please dont try to say her yrs as 1st lady is experience to be President!..Another thing, have you listened to more than just the sound bites of the Rev's tape??..I doubt you have because i also felt the way you do now until i heard more of the tape. ALOT of what he said was true and some were quotes of what the former U S AMBASSADOR said. Plzz do your research. posted 03/23/2008 at 00:48:45

Blacks 'Injected' With Syphilis? Never Happened

"The Gov. didn't inject black people with syphilis"...they just used them as TEST SUBJECTS and left them untreated and allowed them to DIE just so they could see the effects of syphilis!!...WOW!!!, what a difference!! Do you know the symptoms and effects of having syphilis(what a way to go) Funny you outraged that the educated men didn't get it 100% accurate but you not outraged at how the Gov treated it's own people. posted 03/23/2008 at 02:16:27
