Founding Partner of CornerSource, LLC, Lawrence Shields is an accomplished, seasoned technology professional with over two decades of proven success in enterprise revenue generation, operational cost reduction, and multi-million dollar budget oversight. He is a critical thinker and adept negotiator with in-depth experience with high profile clients in diverse vertical markets including:
* The Borgata Hotel and Casino
* JP Morgan/Chase
* The New York City Office of Emergency Management
* Urban Health Plan
Prior to founding CornerSource, in 2005, Lawrence was a Senior Associate with Shen Milsom & Wilke (a global A/E technology consulting firm ) for four years. He was employee number 18 with ThruPoint, a global, strategic IT firm where he held several senior consultant and management positions from 1997 to 2001.
Lawrence joined ThuPoint after managing Network Engineering for Lehman Brothers from 1994 to 1997, an appointment that came following a thirteen year stint with KPMG.
In 1992 Mr. Shields served as MIS Director for the "Brown for President" Office at the 1992 Democratic National Convention in New York
He was a charter member of "We the People" in New York City. "We the People" was a national, community centric organization created by Jodie Evans, and lead by Jerry Brown as an outgrowth of Mr. Brown's Presidential campaign.
