After Katrina we moved to Natchez Mississippi. Have waited almost 5 years to go home to New Orleans. Originally from San Francisco Bay Area, Chico, Los Angeles.
Natchez is a beautiful town filled with anti-bellum homes but they are in anti-bellum oblivion. The racism here is heart breaking, thankfully my county was the only county in the state of MS. that voted Obama. I continue to fight the right wing bible thumpers, anti everything Obama and call out the lemmings on their continued hate. This I do through the local paper natchezdemocrat.com where sometimes the racial bigotry is just over the top.
