Obama Undercuts His Brand

Huffers seem to be excoriating Obama without much help from the old media. posted 06/28/2008 at 21:20:13
Now that Hillary's gone we gotta have someone to kick around. Don't we just love to see a winner brought dow a peg? Way to win the election Dems. What a bunch of self-loating whiners. I voted for Bill even though I hate the death penalty. I hope all thos texting twenty-somethings can spere a few seconds to go and vote in November even if they're disappointed that Obama isn't perfect. posted 06/28/2008 at 21:11:47
Made a pile of dough in the 90's and invested in Mexico after the war started, don't care how high the taxes go. If grampy gets in I'll be sippin Margs on the beach in Maz. posted 06/28/2008 at 21:06:03
If you haven't read either of his books, you probably were fooled. i believed he was more centrist than HRC when I read Audacity of Hope two years ago. posted 06/28/2008 at 21:04:45

Oppose Bush's Vulgar Lies and Pornographic War: Send Money to Al Franken

Is Gerson the same guy who wrote the joke Laura Bush told about George "milking a horse, and it was a male horse"? posted 06/20/2008 at 00:33:23

Fox News Calls Michelle "Obama's Baby Mama"... FOX: Producer Used Poor Judgment

Yes, when used by white people, black slang is redonkulous. Remember George Costanza singing in a black gospel choir? posted 06/12/2008 at 12:38:24
I'm too old and tired to fight all of the mean people. I'm too busy handing out food to the homeless and volunteering in New Orleans. If you've got enough to pay your rent or mortgage, you should be giving back and helping others. Just ignore the rich who have thrived in the last seven years. Their giant houses are going to fall down on them because they are leveraged to the hilt. That's why they are in such a fowl mood. Their tax breaks are oming to an end. posted 06/12/2008 at 12:34:10
Since when is it O.K. to use street slang on a news broadcast? At the very least it's an attempt to dumb down our language. I use that language too, because I work in a school, but the kids always know I'm using it ironically to be "cool". They think I'm the "sickest" librarian ever! I don't think I would talk that way in a job interview, even (especlally) if I was being interviewed by a person of color. Yo dawg. posted 06/12/2008 at 12:26:11
Bibbo, Your comment is so deeply racist and patronizing, I don't even know where to start. The Obamas have worked for everything they have, unlike the current occupier of the White House. posted 06/12/2008 at 12:17:52
We would have to never go out in public to stop hearing all of the insulting things people say. here's a newsflash: when you are talking on your cell phone I CAN HEAR YOU! posted 06/12/2008 at 12:10:31
In general, we still mention a woman's children no matter what the context. I've noticed that famous authors are commonly pofiled on book jackets with NO mention of their family situation if the writer is male, but with lots of touchy feely family crap if it is a woman. Women are part of this problem, because we buy all of the wedding and baby junk that keeps the industry going. posted 06/12/2008 at 11:58:54

Carville Floats Gore As A VP Pick

Gore has made a boatload of money since leaving office, and he's had a bigger platform for saying what he thinks. Why would he go backwards? posted 06/11/2008 at 20:41:00
Why does it have to be someone old? Wouldn't it be better to look ahead sixteen years to someone who is still young after obama's second term? Democrats, stop being so self-loathing! We think it has to be someone "experienced" just because McCain is ancient? That is just answering all of the doubts Republicans have. Stop trying to please them as if they're your abusive stepdaddy! posted 06/11/2008 at 20:38:56
I just took a bath in coal last night...it's very clean. And Lieberman is a Democrat. And Mission Accomplished, and flowers and candy, and a fist bump is a terrorist greeting, and ownership society and yada yada yada. posted 06/11/2008 at 20:34:59

Clinton, Obama: We Will Unite

Lots of racism sexism and general stubborness buried in that posting. posted 03/28/2008 at 13:32:06
I find it interesting that Republicans are willing to vote for a crazy old man whose Republican credentials they doubt, but Democrats are whining endlessly when either of our candidates would be miles ahead of what we've had for the last seven years. Writing in a candidate displays a profound ignorance of how democracy works. posted 03/28/2008 at 13:10:18

Clinton: This Race Will Last Three More Months

Sick to death of the peace and prosperity of the 90's. Loving the war, deficit, corporate welfare, gas prices/oil company profits, being spied on and frisked at the airport. posted 03/26/2008 at 15:37:25
Yes, because Republicans have been so nice to each other over the years. By all means vote for McCain because a candidate who you agree with on everything didn't show up. What the hell, just write in your spouse. What's that? You don't agree with your spouse on everything? posted 03/26/2008 at 15:32:30
Current polls are showing McCain beating both dems in Iowa. posted 03/26/2008 at 14:50:22
If Obama works with Republicans it's unifying. I f Hillary works with Republicans it's triangulating. See how politics works, I did this with my hands. posted 03/26/2008 at 14:43:56

McCain Says US Succeeding in Iraq

The Republican credo is "I've got mine, f u" posted 03/25/2008 at 13:46:27
John Kerry's patriotism was questioned, and his marriage, and his religion, and his character. McCain has many more serious flaws and flip flops that are not being mentioned at all on cable news. Neo cons are willing to overlook just about anything to get another Republican elected. posted 03/25/2008 at 12:54:20
