Born and raised in rural Idaho. Saw the reintroduction of the gray wolf in central Idaho. BA in Environmental Science. Loved my Peace Corps Kenya experience, so I enrolled in an International Development MA program. Got the Fulbright Scholarship and an internship with UNEP; spent another 2 years in Kenya. In 2003 married a Kenyan lady I'd known since 1999. We live in western Colorado where I work for a land management agency. Interests in international issues and environmental/public land issues.
