Apparently, 80 % of Clinton supporters are now backing Obama, according to one poll today. About 8 % are Hillraisers, hellraisers or hit men for Hill and Bill. Whatever the case, Leiberman should understand her vote counts as 1, just as with everyone, including the President.

She can do what she wants, her career isn't based on Hillary's win any longer, or Obama's, so John McCain is looking for you Leiberman, just as he is with Joe Leiberman. Take a suggestion, and get on with your life. The voter's are not interested in Hillary's passion....they have an election to win.

I think if the U.S. governed with a moral compass, read the Bible (like they all say they do....leaders), and at least try to walk in 'the truth', as they scream they do, they wouldn't be looking for natural resources in foreign country's, to create their economic wealth. Great article Steven, and truly a 'truth' American's need to understand. Canada is much the same way as England, my mother's, mother country. We were under the Union Jack until the sixty's, I don't remember the 'bold' arrogance of this mother country, or the celebration and declaration of pompous, frivilous lapel pin attachment or flag's on every porch or yard of Canadian's or Brit's.

For America, it's a sign of loyalty (only in this election, so much said about patriotism), pride, World status, subtle arrogance, and World domination. Every household has a flag. It is absurd to think America is humble. When travelling abroad, questions from locals engage me with complimentary chatter, letting me know that America is not welcome to their shore's, but they admire Canadian's. This attitude of is what I've heard from many country's, British Isles, to Peurto Rico, the Virgin Island's, Martinique, Mexico.

I think U.S.A. must realize their foreign policy with other country's has been a failure for most of their existance. Their accomplishment's have been truly remarkable, but their treatment and invasion of many nation's has always been a regrettable, distasteful reminder that democracy for America is not always the same as democracy in other country's. Yeah! It is a good life in Canada, and a less stressful life. Programs, including health care are great programs, and usually everyone has the same status, rich or poor, with regard to federal and provincial programs. The media was very respectful of Clinton and her campaign. It was Clinton using her triangulation technique that failed on her. Each province in Canada has an ID card, that is tamperproof, hopefully, updated if you change address within the same province. It shows your name address, number that stays with you and a code for each update. To go to another province must apply in that province with certain documents, change of address. Our drivers licences also photo ID, same as healthcard. For many years, fraudulant health cards cost the taxpayers a fortune, but the screening now is as good as it gets.

As a Canadian woman, I wouldn't have the money to get my surgery. Many do, through our government if it is so critical and no spot on waiting list. I know it's not perfect, believe me. I have seen a woman needing a hip replacement wait over a year. But, the discussion on length of waiting list is always ongoing.

Many small communities do not have the doctor's available to service their health care. Some paid their tuition for University just to contract a doctor for a no. of yrs. Doctor's have gone to America, that's a problem, but most stay in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) includes most NW, W-golden horshoe and SW tip. They specialize mostly, and more available. It isn't perfect, but we constantly seek solutions to all issues that arise. Abuse of the system is not a problem here particularily-mostly those with children are more susceptible to use system more, but that is good also for preventative healthcare.

My neice is a R.N. and has moved to the U.S. for higher pay. I took my R.N. in the 80's, many countries had employment fairs to hire Canadian nurses. As a nurse here in Canada the pay is comparable to an elected professional in Gov. maybe more, but good.

In Canada, I have done the billing for a physician, The rate to the government in each province vary slightly....averaging about $75 per 6 min. visit...no matter what visit for. It's sad when I hear this, especially a child needing so much care, and is inclined to not see the dangers adults would. But, the reality is, American administration's, have sold out their citizen's, children, immigrants, hard working americans, for power and war. I live in a country that provides all my health care needs, my children, grandchildren. All our citizen's get equal treatment, not level one, two or three, but the same as joe blow the billionaire down the road, has the same care as I, an older lady, low income retired.

Also,our medication is about 1/3 the cost. I have no idea why, other than lobbyist's and drug companies hold on your government. We have strict guidlines for cost, if on pension or social program, usually a generic drug replaces the high cost one. Exactly the same composition. But pensioner's and social program recipient's pay a small fee for dispensing drug, usually $2 an item.

I think it's very telling how Hillary's group of followers are holding a country hostage because of their 'woman' vote. You are right, several tidbit's never made the press, when both Hilary and Bill, 'incited' their brand of 'racism' and 'inexperience", 'unworthynes' etc., We should place our anger behind us.

But, although someone else takes the fall, they have escaped charges.

The same crowd of Democrat leaders that forgave Bill and Hillary, time and time again, has had enough of them and want to move on. The know the risk if Hillary won, and it wasn't a pretty picture. I am sad that Barack Obama's pastor was maligned and degraded to such a point that his 'freedom' of free speech was snatched by Shaun Hannity and many republican racist's, including the KKK in America, but this is the 'system of things' that the religious right know much about.

Jeremiah Wright spoke from his experience's as a black man in the 50's and 60' until present. Most of his alleged 'radical' statements are absolutely true. Yes, he is a passionate preacher of this era in a post civil right act America, but he is stating his 'truth', our truth, and the truth of many evangelicals, catholics and other faith's. Those who know the Bible well, have studied and lived their lives according to Bible principles.

I guess they should be worried. Republicans and Democrats of deep faith, love a man of God, a messanger, a man, not afraid to use his faith as his 'rock' and lifestyle. Bless his heart, he is an honest and good man, not only spreading 'The Good News", but living it, unlike Clinton and McCain. That is were he gets his courage, peace, temperament, confidence and compassion.....through his faith. Jeremiah Wright must not be that 'radical' if he brought this young man to Jesus Christ. As usual, Hillary is using her voter's as bait, but her supporter's are doing her more harm than good. She is looking like a 'weakling' having someone else do her dirty work for VP spot. This makes her look weak, powerless, hiding, and shady. Hillary has to do the work with the voter's not the donars. there is a difference. She really wasn't strong. Her speech's were run of the mill 60's style, her husband created the contraversy so her mistake's well tucked away. She fell all over Bill, whispering while on stage, leaning on him, smothering him with hugs and kiss's, while he was roaming. Hillary's supporter's are riding this 18 mil to death. I don't believe they will desert the democratic party. I have read many different web blogs, so many different media sight's, her supporters for the most part are angry at her for not acknowledging 'history' in the making by his opponant. They are scathing with NY times blog's toward her, in fact have a web site wanting her out of the position representing NY. And most are women voters. So to say this about her ownership of 18 mil voter's is likely the staff of her campaign perhaps some sprinkled around each state, but not overwhelming as she claims.

Clinton as VP would be a disaster;
a. She would bring her baggage and her husband's once again to the "PEOPLES" house, the drama would never end. Scandel after scandel would erupt.
b. She would demand to have a "Coalition Presidency", undermining him at every turn. She is a control freak, who would ruin Obama's integrity. Her husband would be sneaking into the oval office again with a box of cigars.
c. They both have a date in November (I believe), with the CA court, along with many of their associate's for CAMPAIGN FRAUD.
d. Clinton has already angered many leaders in foreign country's re: Russia made a comment a few month's ago, slapping her down, so did British, Iran. Probably many more. Canadians dislike her immensely.
She really is not the most 'balanced' candidate for the job. Both Clinton's have a stability and 'reality' problem.

Clinton' supporters......If you are a democrat and your candidate lost the nomination, why would you vote for McCain??? What is it that Barack Obama has done to you, or that you do not agree with?? Or is it his colour, his name, his faith, his message, his integrity, his honesty, his temperament, his wife, his followers, his staff, his supporters, his friends......Now, what do you love about Hillary???? Hillary's supporters hogging the post today, should realize, you are only a small fraction of what all the media blogs are saying, the majority of the 18 mil, blogging throughout the web, dissappointed terribly of Clinton and her handling of Tuesday night. They realize they are being used as the bargaining chip and disgusted with her treatment of acknowledging an historic even. NoOOO, not her being a woman close to the presidential nominee, Barack Obama first black American to reach that status in history.

So Clinton bloggers, once the media realizes her dwindling 'women' factor is outraged, they media will know that Obama can do this without her on the ticket.

I pray Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, Oregon and Peurto Rico understand the importance of this vote.....research, listen and choose wisely, which I'm sure you will. I don't think you are 'closed off communities' or stuck in the past? It's not name recognition that counts it's character. Perhaps you have a problem with race? I don't know? but in this election, skill, intelligence, integrity and judgement is ALL necessary for this President. I know myself, whenever I hear the name Clinton, my first thought's are... the Oval Office tribute to Monica....then, the credibility issue's since 'Watergate". No...not Whitewater...but Watergate. Whitewater came later. Her Management fired her, called her a liar, and falsifying documents over President Nixon. Wooooh!! Yes, this girl's (Hillary) been around long time getting into trouble. She's never played it straight, never will. When you hear rumor's, check them out. Don't just say...."I don't believe Hillary's like that!", until you check it out.
