Obama Opts Out Of Public Financing, Reformers Back Decision

Michelle Obama is Nobody's "Baby Mama"

How absolutely vile! If I could find out who the sponsors of "Fox News" are I would boycott them. Someone start a boycott please. posted 06/12/2008 at 18:41:54

Tom DeLay: 'Unless Obama Proves Me Wrong, He's A Marxist'

Why would anyone want a crook's opinion, much less pay attention to it. Let's see, now what would be a good description of Tom Delay.............crook, liar, money pimp, ...it could go on and on. posted 06/06/2008 at 20:03:25

Even In Defeat, It's All About Her

Your words.....perfect and perfectly true. posted 06/04/2008 at 22:37:33
Ah, Bob, you write so well. I enjoy your work. There are times when I don't agree with you totally, but this time you were so right. posted 06/04/2008 at 20:00:20
I couldn't find that button either, so I just wrote my comment in the "comment box" under I am with you Hillary......... I know it will be counted as "being with her", but I felt better after writing, "Please, give a gracious concession statement now. The people have spoken". posted 06/04/2008 at 19:55:42

McCain: "I'm Not Running On The Bush Presidency"

I thought it was extremely clever, especially the lock step. It takes some swallowing to choke down what was said about McCain by Bush's campaign people, but he did it and never missed a step. posted 04/01/2008 at 16:32:23

Hooked on Hillary

Dear Nora,
I think it is called "gender identity". We want women, especially in government leadership positions, to be competent, intelligent, honest, and still be a woman who will represent us as a collective gender.

I had a real big problem with it....I wrote an op-ed about the benefits of getting two brains for the price of one when Bill was elected for his first term. It was published. I received a great deal of mail taking me to task for not seeing Hillary as she was.....from both men and women. By the time that 8 years was over, I knew what they were talking about, but I still wanted a woman president and she was ready "from day one" to be that president.

I got over it when a close friend told me Hillary had set back the possibility of a woman president by 30 years. posted 03/30/2008 at 20:22:01

The Fear Factor

I also have a "just wondering" question. Can Hillary choose Bill Clinton as her VP? Is that legal?

He certainly campaigns like a prospective VP. posted 03/29/2008 at 11:47:08
You may be closer to the truth than you think!! posted 03/29/2008 at 11:37:09

Please don't generalize!! I am an old lady (age 78) and I am white, but not a racist!

I simply cannot be the only old lady voter out here who doesn't like Hillary. I haven't liked her for several years and I will vote for Obama if he is the Democratic candidate.

Hope I set to rest your "generalized" version of who will or won't vote for Hillary. posted 03/29/2008 at 10:49:38

Hillary's Honorable Future: A History Lesson

Bill Clinton is like a sore which irritates the hell out of you and you really don't know what to do to stop it from opening up and bleeding all over you. posted 03/29/2008 at 20:52:15
Hillary does not care about the party, the people, or the future of our government. She only wants and intends to be president, damn it. Listen to her....it is so evident in her speeches!!! posted 03/29/2008 at 20:48:03

4,000: More Than A Number

Why was this blog taken off the front page in less than 2 hours?

n,
Sorry. I never seem to be one of their favorites. Thanks for your touching comment and so sorry for your family's pain. Those who send the young to war rarely know what war really is.

Steve, beautiful imagery in words, but so graphic in reality. I lost a son (son-in-law) in the Viet Nam fiasco. Not only do you have all those feelings at the time, but it goes on for all the years you live. A widow with no children for memory of his image, a father with no grandchildren from his only son. posted 03/24/2008 at 20:53:04
