Satellite TV retailer from 1995 until 2008. But something was burning inside of both of us. We cashed out to start a small company that develops and builds affordable solar-powered products using local blood, sweat and good science. We are working on hot water, heat/AC, regular electric and the conversion to electric of our vehicles, both of which are small to begin with. Our goal is to be as close to 100% as possible free of fossil fuels in our daily life. We produce about 75% of our vegetables on a small lot, so we have but a few "footpaths" of free space in our back yard! But we eat well, and that's what counts, right?
We're both proud of the zillion or so miles we logged for Obama in 2008. It worked!
