Many of us care because he is truly an honorable man who has served his country far longer than John McCain and is certainly in a position to comment on the sainted McCain. I live in Louisville Kentucky and take great issue with Nathan Wrights comments. Our Kentucky for Obama office opened last Saturday. We had a crowd of around 1200 and the street had to be shut down. Obama wasn't there. In fact the only two people anyone outside of Kentucky might have heard of , our current Representative John Yarmuth and former congressman Ron Mazzoli. You could not get into the office where the line to buy Obama shirts, yard signs, buttons etc. People were signing up in droves to volunteer. The weather was horrible, cold and windy. The mood was joyful. So many people with a shared vision, breathtaking!

Meanwhile, across town, Queen Hillary was drawing a crowd of about three hundred more to the warm inside of Manual High. So the super star of vitriol barely surpassed the group assembled just to show support for our candidate.

I don't doubt that there will be some people ignorant enough to confuse Obama and his pastor as one and the same, but please don't think that it's the norm here. Most of us are able to differentiate between the head and tail of our horses and we do pretty well with people too!

It is glaringly apparent to me that this new by to the Clintons from the right shows just the person they want to run against.

Sunday Morning Segregation: Peggy Noonan & The Wright Stuff

I also heard Peggy Noonan yesterday morning and was agape for a good ten minutes. Then I cried in happiness for the next ten or so. I've wanted to write her a letter of thanks for not playing the dirty little Republican gotcha game. Would that the Clintons, alleged Democrats would do the same. I have rarely agreed w/ Ms. Noonan but have always thought her to be honest in her commentary. Her depth of understanding was brilliant and her bravery in the midst of the current lunacy to speak with thought will make me anxious to listen to her rather than dismiss her as one more right wing loony. Obama Tells Smerconish That He Confronted Wright On Statements

Now there is a brilliant observation that none of the media left or right has bothered to mention. Thank you for remembering to remind me. I spend too much time being outraged by the hypocrisy of the msm and the Clintons, maybe especially the Clintons who ostensibly are members of the same party as Barack Obama. It feels like people were waiting for entree to bash Obama without sounding racist. The irony is that they sound not only racist but like puppets of the right wing. Yes, I'll be supporting Barack Obama and unless the Clintonistas manage to steal the nomination, I believe we will win. Can Clinton Win The Popular Vote?

You know Lady Hillary signed on the same dotted line as Barack Obama regarding the moving up the primaries rules. I, for one, don't believe the DNC should make the rules for the states but they did and all candidates were aware. Hil was quite vocal on it in New Hampshire. Now of course, as is the Clinton way, things did not work out the way they wrote it in the Book of Clinton, so all bets are off, rules aren't okay anymore and she is deeply concerned for the rights of Florida and Michigan. She is and her good buddies Sen. Nelson, Gov. Corzine and Big Ed Rendel want to finance it...what a surprise!!!! Of course there is the easy solution of splitting the delegate votes but that wouldn't help enable her to steal the nomination and she won't accept a caucus which as Queen is her right obviously.

Obama Endorsed By Bill Richardson

He would be a traitor had he made this important endorsement out of some blind loyalty to the Clintons. His endorsement was for the person he felt would best serve our country as commander and chief. The Clintons didn't give him a top position out of love. Bill Richardson is eminently qualified for any government position and the Clintons were aware of that. This isn't the contest for prom king and queen. Perhaps had it been he'd have chosen the Clintons. As it is I thank him for making this endorsement and wish that John Edwards, a man I campaigned for in 2004 would do the same.
