Ran Scot cut his teeth with Salt for Slugs Magazine, contemporary literature for the random reader. After growing tired of the zombie sleep walk dance of America, he went to Mexico and co-founded La Jerga, Mexico's first independent gonzo newspaper. There he made fun of the Pope, el Presidente and the soccer team and made it out alive. He is now in New York City watching the the monkey parades in the city that never sleeps. His political heroes are Sam Rayburn, that son of bitch LBJ and Ann Richards, the Winter Queen of Texas.
