Electing Sweetie

Erica,

First -- are you calling women witches? What was that all about?

Second, read Barack's first book -- that tells you more about Obama than Hillary has revealed about herself in all the years she has been in public life. Hillary has always been about "hiding" and "holding back." How else could a woman stay married for so long to a serial adulterer?

But, mostly, I have no idea what this column/article was about. Are you saying that millions of intelligent women all over the country prefer Obama for stupid reasons? That is an insult, Erica. A real insult to all of us.

Hillary ran a TERRIBLE campaign and made some VERY bad mistakes.

Obama didn't win because his supporters are stupid. posted 05/16/2008 at 16:46:30

Oh, and it might be nice to have a President isn't too senile to remember that Czechoslovakia DOESN'T FREAKING EXIST ANYMORE!!!

Yes, Senator. Blinky McBlink -- if you are going to talk about putting missiles in a country -- MAKE SURE IT EXISTS!!

Kentucky Polls: Democratic Primary Latest Results

Yes, Kentucky is an intersting place. I just got through telling an aunt I love who lives there that we will just have to "agree to disagree" about whether or not Evolution is a "hoax."

John And Elizabeth Edwards: What Do They Like (And Dislike) About Dem Candidates?

The reason Obama gets such a high Black vote is that almost all blacks are against the war -- they are voting -- as a group for the anti-war candidate. At least they started doing that once they thought a black man had a chance to win.

Of course, African-Americans had no idea Hillary and her supporters would start race-baiting and encouraging uneducated whites to give in to the dark pull of bigotry. For that, I will never forgive Hillary and her supporters -- even though I will vote for whoever is the Dem candidate in November.

But it has been incredibly sad for me to realize that so many Democrats hate black people.

I am Hispanic, by the way. posted 05/05/2008 at 23:43:24

In working class white neighborhoods, the people are mean, unwelcoming and won't even come to the door most of the time. Democrats should be ashamed of the way Hillary has made it acceptable for uneducated whites to hate Obama. It is tragic. posted 05/05/2008 at 23:33:23

Dueling Grannies Fight Over Democratic Nominee

A few comments:

1. Too many "Hillary" supporters really want the "Clinton Magic" back. Even one of my best friends told me she supported Hillary to "get Bill back." That is simply nonsense! (Sorry V******)

2. Hillary supports secretly think Obama is not a "real American." Or not worthy of being in the White House because he is black. Did you hear the Hoboken women's list of great couples? Were there ANY people of color on that list? Or any Catholics? Nope, all WASPs.

3. Hillary supporters constantly "misspeak" about what he has said in the past. Obama has never talked about sitting down with "terrorists," but with leaders of sovereign countries. Are they stupid or liars?

And finally -- I am SICK to death of idiotic people getting Obama's name wrong or applying it to some terrorist. AGAIN, ARE YOU RACISTS, IDIOTS OR JUST PLAIN EVIL? posted 05/02/2008 at 19:35:27

Five Years After "Mission Accomplished"

As far as I am concerned, anyone who is backing Hillary Clinton has no right to claim to be a part of the "Progressive Wing" of the Democratic Party. Nor do they have any right to call themselves "Anti-War.

So you can save you breath(s) on any of these issues from now on.

The only thing you should be doing now is trying to get Hillary to leave the primary race before all the young, new and enthusiastic Obama supporters abandon politics in disgust and before our loyal African-American Democrats stay home in droves next November -- and perhaps for decades to come if Hillary's dirty tricks and hardball tactics against Obama gain her the nomination.

DNC Iraq McCain Ad Sparks Controversy: Watch Video

@livetottell

I just read your past profile psostings. You don't have an original thought in your head. Every single thing you have written has either come from Fox News, Michael Savage or Rush Limbaugh. A couple of comments, however:

1. Your interpretation of history and the triumph of the West in Vienna is so simplistic it makes my teeth hurt. Who knows what might have happened if Islam had moved further West. Maybe it would have had a Reformation and it would have been liberal by now. Maybe if that had happened, a "Christan" nation like Germany might not have slaughtered 10 million people in WW II. Revisionist history is a tricky biz.

2. I guess you didn't quite get it -- you do seem a bit slow on the uptake -- but Groundskeeper Willie is "insane."

3. For Americans to stay in a Middle Eastern country that we invaded for any longer than necessary is just plain stupid. We did not conquer them, nor do we offer them anything they cannot get regionally. We will simply be offering up our soldiers like lambs to the slaughter and giving future credence to the idea that we are trying to control the region.

I know this is wasted typing but your ignorance really ticked me off. posted 04/27/2008 at 11:20:22

Joe Lieberman is not a traitor; he is only a rabid neoconservative.

The Pentagon Official, Larry Franklin, in neoconservative Doug Feith's office, who was a traitor, merely did it to get someone in AIPAC or the Israeli Embassy to help him get a job on the heavily neoconservative National Security Council.

I think that, no matter how uncomfortable it is, Obama had to end up addressing "class." This issue hurt Kerry and many other Dem candidates.

I think that if he sticks to his guns (unintended -- but it works) and doesn't back down, he will, at the very least, earn some respect that previous, more pandering Dem candidates did not.

That is what Obama has been doing gradually: dealing with old Democratic "ghosts" head-on. Not flinching. Acting firm. Having integrity about his convictions.

THAT IS WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANT. And that is something that Republicans have known for a while. As Bill Clinton himself said: If you can't be right, at least be strong!

23 Democratic Senators voted against the Iraq resolution. Hillary had just been elected in 2000 -- she certainly didn't need to worry about re-election.

Obama was in the beginning of a primary battle during the time of the Iraq War vote. He was running against 5-7 other potential Democratic candidates for IL Senate. He was willing to go to anti-war rallies even though he also had to get voters from the more conservative ares of Southern Illinois to support him.

The other Democratic Senators running for President in the current election were openly apologetic and acknowledged their mistakes. Hillary Clinton was the only one who HAS NOT done these things.

There, now Hillary supporters, continue rationalize your support for Hillary Clinton versus Obama on the war all you want.

As a feminist legislator and leader, Hillary Clinton failed the most important test she faced in her political career.

Insulting the "manliness" of Obama and/or his supporters is what Repubicans do -- not what Democrats do!

You guys have gone mad. posted 03/27/2008 at 12:15:45
The voters HAVE said it is over. There is no way that Hillary can win the popular vote and the delegate count. WE HAVE MADE OUR VOICES HURT.

The only thing Hillary can do is hope that a meteor hits Obama or try to destroy him.

How is it so wonderful that Hillary wants to destroy the candidate the majority of Democrats prefer?

You all are tearing the party apart and every dead soldier under a McCain presidency will be on yours and Hillary's heads! posted 03/27/2008 at 12:11:38

"Obama's Test" or Ours?

In 1996, Bill Clinton ran "on the future." His theme was "The Bridge to the 21st Century." How dare you Hillary people try to make Obama people feel like crackpots because we have found the "next" great American politician!

Where would the country be if we had not taken a chance on "The Man from Hope" -- but, instead, had re-elected GHW Bush in 1992 or ignored the future in 1996 by electing the "experienced" Robert Dole?

All your insults to Obama supporters for simply caring about the future and being inspired by the hope of a new and wonderful Democratic leader is an insult to Bill Clinton and everything he represented.

I wish you all could grasp how much damage you are doing to the future of the party and how much damage you are doing for all Democrats in the General Election. posted 03/26/2008 at 00:57:17

Why Am I So Afraid

I went back and read your profile posts and I cannot decide what your problem is -- but your hatred of Obama is pathological and based on whatever "lie of the day" is floating around.

First he is a Muslim (you get all your facts wrong here because his biological Father converted to Catholic and then remained a Secular Humanist the rest of his life as were his step-father, mother and grandparents), then he is "liar," then he is "nasty," then he is "corrupt," then he is "Un-American" and a "Commie" as you get all your facts wrong about "Liberation Theology," conflating Catholic and Latin-America Liberation Theology with Black Liberation Theology, then you -- my goodness! -- you are all over the map.

But the one thought that seems to flow through all of your previous postings is a visceral hatred of Obama -- that is completely irrational. I am sorry -- that has to lead me to conclude the most obvious reason as to why you do not like him. It would seem to be quite black and white... posted 03/22/2008 at 23:58:59
Really, Erica. Obama has worked very hard and does not simply rely on "rhetoric."

Obama can choose Kathleen Sebelius, Janet Napalitano, Diane Feinstien, Jane Harmon, Claire McCaskill -- or many other women politicians if we Dems "don't need to deal with gender issues." posted 03/22/2008 at 23:38:45
