Regina Varolli is a freelance writer and editor who provides communications and public relations services to experts, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations through her business, Words by Regina Varolli & Co. Regina is also a Feature Writer on RollickGuides, where she writes about Volunteerism and Food. She has written for Gothamist, StarChefs, and Washington Women, among others, and Her Blog, Political Sagacity, is one of the top Female Political Blogs on the internet.

Prior to freelancing, Regina founded her own non-profit organization, and was a Direct Lobbyist on Capitol Hill, where she successfully lobbied for the suspension of US tax-dollars funding the Indonesian military. Through her professional work and through countless volunteer hours, Regina continues to fight for the things in which she believes, including saving the lives of discarded Racehorses through ReRun.

Born to a Southern Californian Restaurateur and a Northern Italian Chef, Regina grew up in the food industry on both sides of the Pond. She has lived in Los Angeles, Reggio nell'Emilia, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Manhattan. In her quest for cultural understanding, and excellent food, Regina has traveled to over forty countries on three continents. Her passions in life are writing, food, volunteerism, riding, and last but not least, politics.
