I'm sorry, but it's VERY disingenuous to have non-blacks and of ANY persuasion lecture blacks on what they should be proud of when the very nature of the prejudice blacks face is deeply rooted in America's past. THESE very same people can turn a blind eye to this condition because it ultimately does not effect them. Unless you where the shoes of a black person in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, and beyond, people wouldn't know what Mrs. Obama was talking about. Not being able to speak English is a helluva lot better when your skin tone absolves you from the harassment blacks face or being latino keeps you from being a total castoff, since blackness in American society bestows the ultimate stigma.

THAT is the problem with the relative dissonance in this video and those that support this point of view. They can make this video, turn the corner and treat a black person harshly and dismissively, but say America is awesome (as long as THEY aren't being crapped on).
