Moved to California 34 years ago to visit and never returned except for two funerals to the red state of Kentucky. Currently fighting the city of San Jose over a disability suffered while at work 6 years ago.. Can't say I hate the Rush's or their type, but I do hate the way they lie. I like the way that Maddow lies better. I despise all the christofascist who claim to love a savior but are against helping their fellow man. Most of what I retort to the rednecks and birthers gets reviewed and shut off. I cannot stand the ignorance of the righties that come to HP. They are no different than the fascist that go to the town halls to disrupt. The biec's are arriving in force to HP to spread their lies and distortions. I am always happy when I see a bunch of fellow liberals trash these bloggers. Do you ever wonder how they get so many people as followers as soon as they start posting? They will post a few straight out the rove playbook and the next thing you know they have 40 followers. And they are on line a long time. I have the luxury of following HP all day and night and I notice the rovees stay on line a long time.
Am I spending too much time on the web or I have tried to moderate my rants to get posted. Sometimes these birthers are sp stupid I cannot help myself responding. I finally gave up trying to reason, now it is>table>chair>furniture. At least I don't waste so much time with people who are not interested in solving the problems. Anyway thanks to all of you that think I am a favorite. It is very gratifying.
I really have to trust Obama and quit denying it is the toughest job in the world. He is a brilliant man but a politician. Politicians are owned by the lobbyist. Unless we get a totally strong hold on Congress this will continue. The K street gang is the biggest threat to our society. Next the C street gang and the seven mountains. The right is always screaming about taking back the country. It is true, we do need to take back the country, from the corporations. Corporations have no rights under the Constitution.
First lets get some progressive agenda work done, then we elect more progressive. We are the people that need to lead this country. The majority center left liberals have balance and are willing to negotiate. Neo cons do not know what those words mean. To them it is weak and cowardly to be understanding and willing to compromise.
