Obama Responds To Bush, McCain Appeasement Attack

How can you talk to world leaders when you have nothing to say and when they disrespect you or laugh behind your back. Bush talking to world leaders. Are you kidding me. On what subject could he conduct an intellegent and productive conversation. Hat in hand he goes to Saudi Arabia and asks them to increase production of the oil so we can get some relief at the pump and they tell him NO. But don't worry next time they need a favor our President will salute and say yes sir. The nerve of Bush to talk about appeasers. He is the enabler. Lets talk about that. This 8 year nightmare will soon end. Obama will be a leader the rest of the world can respect. posted 05/17/2008 at 12:07:33
At last a candidate Democrats can be proud of. Swiftboating will always be the irresponsible way Republicans try to undercut their opponents but after yesterday and Obama'rs rapid response they better be careful it doesn't blow back on them. This is no John Kerry. President Bush's performance in the last eight years has been so abominable that Republicans who sided with him in LOCKSTEP had better be prepared to defend themselves from the vengence of the electorate. I live in a heavily Republican district and most of my neighbors and friends have had enough of the phoney hypocracy of the last 8 years. Many plan to stay home or vote Democratic this year. McCain looks tired and old when he supports Bush and his policies. Contrast that with the dynamic Obama and the fresh new face and ideas he will bring to the Presidency. Once again America will be respected throughout the world. Republicans should be scared, very scared because many will be looking for a new line of work in January. posted 05/17/2008 at 11:55:51
The President and McCain had better rethink their approach for engaging with Senator Obama. They are not facing an opponent who will just stand there and take their nonsense but will respond immediately and forceably. There will be no unanswered swiftboat attacks this time. If they want to debate and contrast differences they better come armed with facts. 82 % of Americans can't wait to see Bush's presidency end. If the best McCain can do is politics as usual he will go down to a crushing defeat. When he stands on the stage debating with Obama the contrast will be startling. If you think McCain looks old now you aint seen nothing yet. For once I hope this election can be decided by the issues and not the idealogical nonsence of the past. If youv've had enough of politics as usual make your voices heard. Maybe then the Republicans can discuss the important issues and stop the lies and inuendos. posted 05/16/2008 at 14:25:39

Let there be no doubt come November the Jewish vote will be overwhelmingly Democratic. Jewish voters are no different than voters of any of the diverse backgrounds of Americans that make up this great country. This election will be decided on the myriad of issues facing this nation most of which the Bush administration failed to address. No one in the Jewish community ever need worry about any American President when it comes to supporting our number one ally in the mideast. Can we really depend on any arab country to support us. The only good thing about America to them is as a dumping place for $ 125 barrels of oil. When push comes to shove we are not their brothers but we certainly are useful when they need to have someone fight their wars for them. posted 05/16/2008 at 14:44:12

John McCain: Obama Unfit To Protect The United States

John McCain too out of touch to lead this country. It's such a disappointment to see McCain suck up to Bush and echo his policies which have set this country back so far. I used to admire McCain and have great admiration for his service to our country but this doesn't qualify him to be President. While the world situation is constantly evolving McCain is regressing. Heaven help the USA if this out of touch outdated political figure ever wins the Presidency. Americans will once again be sitting here in four years from now wondering how they could have made the same mistake for the third time. Twice wih Bush and once with McCain. America it's time to move on. posted 05/16/2008 at 09:16:35

Bush Compares Obama To Nazi Appeasers

President Bush is the gift that keeps on giving. Everytime he opens his mouth he destroys his own credibility' looks ridiculous to the world and even more so in this country. McCain in trying to exploit Bush dumb remarks only loses any credibility he might have. I wonder what stupid remark Bush will utter today and how quickly MCain will support it. America this nightmare is almost over. Electing Obama in November will return this country to a position of prestige once again in the world. I love this country and pray we will have reason once again to be proud of our President. posted 05/16/2008 at 09:07:44
No One I Repeat No One in the Jewish community or in any other community wants us to bomb Iran. What the world wants and that includes the U.S. and all peace loving Nations is diplomacy and dialog. Only an idiot could believe we can get want we want by ignoring other nations and not talking with them directly. This is not an issue to be politized as it is critical to the survival of all of us. President Bush never wants dialog with other nations because he is not intelligent enough or well versed enough not to make a fool of himself. It is far easier to bluster than to engage our enemies directly. Can't wait until tomorrow to see what will be the next stupid statement from the mouth of the President. Good people of America. This is for all of you that voted for this fool of a President. How many of you would like to have a beer with him now? I hope its not too much to ask but could you be more thoughtful this time around and get it right. These last 8 years are like a never ending nightmare. Not one day goes by that this poor excuse for a President doesn't open his mouth and put his foot in it. I am so sick and tired of our great country being the laughing stock of this world. When January rolls around there will be a collective sigh of relief in all the world that this nightmare has ended. Please put someone in the White House who is intellegent and thoughtful and who will make the right decisions for America. McCain is more of the same. Please don't send us down that road to disaster again. posted 05/15/2008 at 14:13:58
Just when you think it can't get any worse IT DOES. There is not one single day that goes by without Bush making a fool out of himself and making this country look foolish in the eyes of the world. The unmitigated gall of him to make a blatantly political speech on foreign soil. If he thinks this will attract the so called Jewish vote for McCain it will have just the opposite effect. The Republican Party is in terrible trouble and there's lots of blame to go around but the bulk of it can be laid at the feet of this poor excuse for a President. Eighty two % of the Anmerican people can not wait for this nightmare to end. If John McCain thinks he can be elected when the President in his usual inarticulate way tries to help him he can just hang it up now. The Republican Party on every level will go down to a landslide defeat of historic proportions come November. Not many will vote for 4 more years of the same. The Repulicans as embodied by Bush and McCain look pathetic. posted 05/15/2008 at 10:30:13

Payback time is fast approaching and It certainly will be payback time. I am so sick of politicians who blindly follow their party leadership without exercising common sense and judgement. They care nothing for any of us or what is right and important for the people. The Republican Party has systematically set out to denigrate and diminsh the middle class but the electorate will have a chance to send a message in November and it will result in a total turnover of the government to the Democrats. They will occupy the White House and have significant fillibuster proof majorities in both houses. Finally the gridlock in Washington will stop. As you sow so shall you reap. Does Obama Even Need The Jewish Vote?

No voting "group" is totally behind any one candidate.Ten to fifteen percent of the African American vote goes to Clinton in each primary. Historically the Jewish vote ( whatever that means) has gone to the Democratic parties candidate no matter who that is, and that will definitely continue. Every one knows that the U.S. is commited to the security of Israel no matter which Party has the White House and you can be totally sure that will continue. The Jewish vote so called worries about the war, the economy, energy and gas prices, the enviorment, health insurance, college affordability and all the issues every other American worries about. They want a change from the last 8 years and will vote accordingly. Israel's secuirity should be a concern for every American. Barack Obama and Israel: More GOP Lies

Why am I not surprised that the Republican leadership is telling some more lies and distorting the meaning of Obama's statements. Evidently they have failed to learn the lessons of the last eight years. Having now lost the last 3 special elections to Democratic candidates in house races one would think that they would get the message. The American People overwhelmingly now have a basic distrust in anything the Republicans say and will tell them so loudly and clearly in November. The Democrats will control the House the Senate and most importantly the White House in January and at last the gridlock will be over and the Republican naysayers will be properly rewarded for the disaster they caused in the last eight years. Pentagon "Media Analysts" Appeared On Major Networks Or Were Quoted More Than 4,500

What ever happened to the day when one of the presses chief responsibilities was to investigate and try to let the public know where fantasy ended and reality began. I thought that our forefathers gave the press freedom so the American people would have a source to go to to glean the truth for themselves. No wonder the Current aministration was able to manipulate the press to such a degree that they could perpetually lie to the American public. They have managed the information about the war and the economy so it would seem that they were in control, keeping us safe and doing the right thing for the public. Maybe in January when Obama is the new leader of our country we can finally get the real story. "Hillary Democrats" Could Be Up For Grabs

Let us not assume that any group of the electorate is unattainable for Senator Obama. He must focus on what he intends to do to correct this downward spiral in our economy. What will he do to keep jobs here that are going to foreign lands. How will he penalize corporations for their greed and disregard for the American worker. What will he do to insure a college education is affordable and obtainable for all those who want it. How will he deal with the exorbitant price of gas. How will we resolve the Iraqi conflict, and help bring peace to the world while at the same time we deal with terrorism. How will he change the couse of America's foreign policy and a myriad of other problems caused by the ineptitude of this Republican administration. Beating McCain should be easy if Obama offer solutions to the people and contrasts his plans and ideas with those of McCain. Pedjudice will always be a factor but survival of self and family in these difficult times is a more compelling factor. Will Obama Win Enough White Votes to Beat McCain?

There will always be some voters who will not vote for Obama because he is black. Those same voters in all probabilty wouldn't vote for a woman either. Predjuiced people will always find an excuse to support their predjudice. Clinton's argument that white bluecolor voters won't support Obama is ludicrous. Surely some won't but others who really feel threatened econonmically and in other ways will vote for Obama even though they might not want to because of some underlining reason. Women and Seniors will certainly change their affiliation with Clinton to vote for Obama. Are they happy sending their children to war in Iraq? I don't think so. When you live in the neighborhood and all your friends are members of the church and your church does wonderful deeds of charity and humanity why are you expected to leave that church because some of your reverend's remarks are offensive. Why is Obama responsible for these remarks when he didn't say them, doesn't agree with them and then denounces them. Should Obama be held responsible for his pastors terrible remarks? And exactly what does any of this have to do with conditions as they are now in our country. If you think the Rev. Wright story is a reason not to vote for Obama then do not complain when you get McCain and 4 or 8 more years of more of the same. Don't complain when your job is lost. Don't complain when you can't afford to drive your car or feed your family or pay for their medical needs or your social security is privatized. Don't complain when the Clintons thumb their nose at your hopes or dreams because its all about them and power. America wake up and vote for your hopes and dreams and for your future or never complain when you helped create a presidency with the worst of the candidates. posted 04/28/2008 at 15:04:48

Obama Backer: Irreparable Breach Between Clinton And Blacks Is Foreseeable

Never mind the black white argument. It's the fairness argument. If Hillary could win this race fairly instead of using all the ridiculous arguments she makes every day changing the rules to justify winning a nomination she has not won in the polling booth. If Obama were to lose because the major parameters by which the winner will be judged are not in his favor african americans will vote for Hillary. If she were to somehow be given the nomination without having won it most african americans and many whites and many young voters, and many independents ect. will also not go to the polls to vote in November. And lastly many disenfranchised Democrats who will see the Hillary nomination as unfair will vote for McCain. Her unfavorable ratings make it very likely that many voters will send her a loud and clear message of rejection in the November election. It may be the only way to get this dislikeable manipulative person to go away forever. posted 04/26/2008 at 15:16:03

How pathetic is this statement by McCain. Those people who will vote based on that idiotic statement are the same people who gave us 2 terms of the current administration. I would like to believe that the electorate has matured and can't be so easily fooled again. If not they will endorse a self fulfilling prophesy that will cost them their jobs, their pensions and everything they have worked for all their lives. Please America wake up. Is Hillary Clinton Push Polling?

If Obama is denied the nomination in the face of having won all the variables in the primaries there will be a revolt in the Democratic Party. Half the delegates will get up and walk out of the convention and the picket lines outside the convention site in Denver will be huge. This is the image that the world and the American electorate will see all over TV and the press. Clinton will be totally responsible for this debacle and that will be her legacy in history. She will never again be viable as a candidate for any office. since she will surely lose the general election and will even put her seat in the Senate at risk when she needs to run for reelection. This is one Democrat's vote she will never get in this or any other year. I will stay home and the American people who support Obama will also. The Democratic Party will get what they deserve if Obama is denied the nomination. posted 04/25/2008 at 08:36:10

Hillary's New Inevitability

Hillary is absolutely unelectable. Many super delegates are witholding their endorsement of Obama hoping she will finally give up this insanity and get them off the hook in their local districts where many are running for reelection. Every one who say Hillary will never get the african american vote are absolutely correct. Its not like the split in each state was 50 50 but black voters are voting for Obama 90 to 10. And in case Democrats are worried about the blue color lunch pail voters in Pa. and elsewhere I can see the ads depicting McCain hugging Rev. Hagee and begging for his endorsement. That should go over big with those voters. Puts the bitter remark on the back burner by comparison. Obama will not have it easy but he is electable in spite of some racists who will never vote for him.. Hillary is unelectabile having turned off large segments of the population she would need to have especially if she were to somehow steal this nomination. posted 04/24/2008 at 10:51:59

Bill Clinton: Obama "Played The Race Card On Me"... Listen To Audio

The Clintons are not racist. What they are is depicable because they will say anything to win. They don't truly believe half of what comes out in their campaign. They are as politically astute as any two people on the face of this earth. They have to know intelectually they have no chance to win the nomination but their own ambitions are a higher priority than the good of their party. They will try to position themselves to be available for 2012 just incase Obama does not get elected. They will not help him or the party to retake the White House. Patriots put country above self. I guess the word Patriotism certainly doesn't apply to them. Obama will turn this country in a new direction and we desperately need a new direction to lead this world again for peace and justice. posted 04/22/2008 at 10:30:00

Debate Analysis: ABC Asked Most Scandal Questions, Obama Was Clear Target

So if Obama is a gentleman and seeks to rise above all the distractions some of you think he's weak. If he runs an inspiring campaign trying to change things in Washington where everything that could go wrong did in the last eight years he's not tough enough. So when he gets the nomination you think he won't be able to stand up to McCain and the Republican attack machine. So some of you think by publishing negative things about him you can deter his nomination. GET USED TO IT a new day is coming . I think the American people now realize what a mess the last eight years have put us in and have the temerity to take back this nation and once again set on the path to greatness in the world. Obama is the only candidate who can do this because he is not wed to the past and a business as usual to hell with the people attitude amongst most of our elected officials.
