How can you talk to world leaders when you have nothing to say and when they disrespect you or laugh behind your back. Bush talking to world leaders. Are you kidding me. On what subject could he conduct an intellegent and productive conversation. Hat in hand he goes to Saudi Arabia and asks them to increase production of the oil so we can get some relief at the pump and they tell him NO. At last a candidate Democrats can be proud of. Swiftboating will always be the irresponsible way Republicans try to undercut their opponents but after yesterday and Obama'rs rapid response they better be careful it doesn't blow back on them. This is no John Kerry. President Bush's performance in the last eight years has been so abominable that Republicans who sided with him in LOCKSTEP had better be prepared to defend themselves from the vengence of the electorate. I live in a heavily Republican district and most of my neighbors and friends have had enough of the phoney hypocracy of the last 8 years. Many plan to stay home or vote Democratic this year. The President and McCain had better rethink their approach for engaging with Senator Obama. They are not facing an opponent who will just stand there and take their nonsense but will respond immediately and forceably. There will be no unanswered swiftboat attacks this time. If they want to debate and contrast differences they better come armed with facts. 82 % of Americans can't wait to see Bush's presidency end. Let there be no doubt come November the Jewish vote will be overwhelmingly Democratic. Jewish voters are no different than voters of any of the diverse backgrounds of Americans that make up this great country. This election will be decided on the myriad of issues facing this nation most of which the Bush administration failed to address. No one in the Jewish community ever need worry about any American President when it comes to supporting our number one ally in the mideast. Can we really depend on any arab country to support us. The only good thing about America to them is as a dumping place for $ 125 barrels of oil. President Bush is the gift that keeps on giving. Everytime he opens his mouth he destroys his own credibility' looks ridiculous to the world and even more so in this country. Does Obama Even Need The Jewish Vote?
No voting "group" is totally behind any one candidate.Ten to fifteen percent of the African American vote goes to Clinton in each primary. Historically the Jewish vote ( whatever that means) has gone to the Democratic parties candidate no matter who that is, and that will definitely continue. Every one knows that the U.S. is commited to the security of Israel no matter which Party has the White House and you can be totally sure that will continue. There will always be some voters who will not vote for Obama because he is black. Those same voters in all probabilty wouldn't vote for a woman either. Putting Clinton on his ticket would be the worst thing Obama could do. After everything she has done to undermine him and her Party she deserves to be left out in the cold. If the superdelegates exercise the nulear option for Clinton let them beware. I will never vote for her and I have voted Democratic in every election with a few very rare exceptions. This year will be one of those exceptions. I will also start a voter uprising in my home state and will try to influence as many voters as I can to reject Clinton. If she runs and then loses which is a given when you subtract the numbers of the electorate who will be angry at the Democratic Party for stealing the nomination from Obama, the party will go down to defeat and the Clintons will at last be gone. Mr. Andrews: Your thoughtful letter and your appraisel of the situation is absolutely correct. I do not understand what has become of the Clintons. I so admmired Bill Clinton when is was President not for his personal life but for what he accomplished for this country. That entire legacy has been discarded in their attempt to blatently wrest the nomination from Barack Obama who has rightfully won it. When our founding forefathers wrote the Constitution they had the foresite to guarantee Freedom of the Press. I can only imagine how uncomfortable they must be as they look down at what the press has become. They put that ammendment into the fabric of our country to allow the press to be a watchdog over the truth and to reign in the government when it hides the truth from the people to protect themselves. Where has responsible journalism gone.? This country is slowly being brought to its knees by a miriad of issues such as the war, inflation, unemployment, the energy crisis ect. I am a white male, a senior citizen and I'm asking everyone to exercise some tolerance. Maybe its hard to understand what the anger is all about if your white. When you live in the neighborhood and all your friends are members of the church and your church does wonderful deeds of charity and humanity why are you expected to leave that church because some of your reverend's remarks are offensive. Richardson's endorsement of Obama is just the beginning of the Clintons slide to the bottom of the slippery slope they created. What a shame. Together Bill and Hill have destroyed any good will other Democrats had for them. As far as Bush and Chaney are concerned its takes great men to acknowledge their mistakes and to change course for the good of their fellow men. History will not be kind to this administration and their legacy will haunt them and theirs for the rest of time. Thoughtful people without blind loyalty to a political party can see the right from the wrong. Reactions to a Tough Decision
HRC loves self more than country, more than party, more than the people. An astute pair of politicians such as Hill And Bill know they can't win except with a nuclear option and to hell with eveything else and the will of the democratic electorate. I will never forgive them for what they have done to kiss up to McCain and try to destroy Obama. I and many of my fellow supporters of Obama will sit on our hands anf if McCain wins Hill and Bill will have destroyed their legacy. Adios Hillary. This insignificant endorsement as she put it will be a great help to Obama in the latino communities in the south west and western states. Hillary didn't think this endorsement was so insignificant when they implored Richardson to hold off or endorse Hillary. Obama is so incredibly smart. Just listen to him speak. He will unite this country and rebuild America's reputation around the world. I can't wait for the debates in September and October. Caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Does anyone really believe that this was 3 individuals who were curious..When the press finds out who these 3 individuals are we'll learn the truth. No investigation by this administratyion will ever get the truth. If someone hadn't blown the whistle we'd never know. When a high profile person such as a Senator running for the presidency has his information violated you would think someone would tell him as soon as the breech was discovered.
