Simon Gribben is an award winning writer, producer, director and editor of television news and sports who has won several local Emmys as a producer of one-hour specials while twice being nominated as a sports writer. He also won a national Emmy as a film editor for ABC Sports. His most influential creation is the original 1969 The Football Follies which has become an iconic franchise for the NFL.

The Museum of Modern Art in New York has 5 of his films in their collection, all of which he wrote, produced, directed and edited. The Museum of Television and Radio in New York has dozens of his works that includes a Public Access show he hosted in Santa Monica on metaphysics, "Simply Simon".

In 1976 he was ordained as a Sufi Reverend and describes himself as "a Jewish Sufi (Rev. Simon-Peter) who follows the Jesus of "A Course In Miracles". He is an actor and a published poet who had a poem parody published in a NFL Football program in 1969, "Gung-Ho Din".
