The New Yorker Helps To Fuel The Rumors With Bad Satire

I think it's challenging perhaps to comprehend the target of the satire, but I would hope that the masses will eventually get the drift " people like to consider themselves on the inside of a joke. When that happens, the people that still attempt to promulgate the muslim rumor will seem more out of touch than ever.

Similarly, I believe that some of the criticism that is currently being aimed at Obama by the right wing just seems long-winded after such a long primary campaign, and the seemingly pejorative tone that constantly surfaced.

Regardless of the 'complexity' of this ironical cover, hopefully people will eventually 'get it', and the rumor mill will grind to a halt.
