A Vote for Hillary Is a Vote for the Death of the Dollar

I wish that Hillary's advisors could dream up a graceful exit strategy, in which she and her Twenty Trillionaires would not have to admit defeat.
There has been a disconnect for so long between her head and her heart, that no matter how forcefully she speaks, I hear no authenticity or "life" in her weary voice....except for the SNL skit. Maybe you could talk to Tina about writing a reoccuring role for Hillary in 30 Rock. With her flair for the dramatic becoming increasingly evident, it would be a pity to waste all that talent! posted 04/02/2008 at 00:23:04

What All These Cries For "More Regulation!" Actually Mean

I find this all so absolutely confusing that I glaze over after the second sentence. Truly, I try to understand it all....it would make my father very happy if I did....but I find myself reading the same sentence over and over.....
Someone needs to write "Dollars for Dummies" ...and hand out free copies on Wall Street!
Me....I'll wait for the movie...start working on that screenplay! posted 04/02/2008 at 01:11:05

Hooked on Hillary

Having commented to a few Huffington blogs during the unfolding of the Hillary / Sniper story, and what a story it is....I admit to feeling somewhat like a "Cyperspace Sniper" in my comments.

....then I thought how clever the term "Cyberspace Sniper" was... and I wanted "authorship", but here's the rub....I would not obviously not get any credit, as I am commenting anonymously....
then I wondered if I had actually heard the term "Cyperspace Sniper" before, forgotten, and was unintentionally plagerizing it, or worse, I 'm really out of it because it was "last year's term". ...
So, yes, I too, have being going round and round with a lot of chatter in my head, instigated by the Hillary on the Tarmak story ...and what is worse than a life without a story?
However, whatever delusions of granduer I might have, as I embellish the events of my life for the telling, I do not expect hundreds to show up as "Extras" in a blood bath.
So, while Hillary is showing an endearing penchant for poetic license, I would prefer someone less inclinded to romatize as our Commander in Chief. posted 03/30/2008 at 18:24:58

Clinton Donors Object to Pelosi Comment

I am horrified that Steve Rattner feels it necessary to write an intimidating letter to the Pelosi. He should be ashamed of himself. He sold out years ago, when he gave up journalism...
It really makes me wonder if I should ever watch Charlie Rose again! posted 03/26/2008 at 23:27:16

Hillary Clinton: Truth or Consequences

I am reminded of the comment David Geffen made months ago "...all politicans lie, it is just that the Clintons do it so easily..." (paraphrased)
It gave me pause for thought, because David Geffen was someone who seemed to know the Clintons first hand. posted 03/30/2008 at 14:27:22

Chelsea Clinton Has Quick Response For Lewinsky Question

I watched the video. What disturbs me is that Chelsea seems smug as she scolds the reporter, almost as if she had practiced this response, knowing at some point she would get to use it. She seemed very self rigteousness. Hmmm.
Clinton's actions with Lewinsky became a major distraction for this country. It is hard for me to forget the misplaceed focus, and the waste of time and energy brought on by irresponsible actions! posted 03/25/2008 at 23:36:45

Clinton: Wright "Would Not Have Been My Pastor"

Hillary points to someone in the audience to appear animated and engaged, which will photograph well - it is all transparently about her. She professes to be "serving" her country; she is self-serving. posted 03/25/2008 at 23:45:58
