Am a Tip O'Neil 'All politics is local' grassroots Maine Democrat from Gorham's Corner ~ St. Dominic's Parish on the Portland peninsula. Worked for the elections of JFK - Ed Muskie - Ken Curtis - Joe Brennan - George Mitchell - James Oliver & Larry Connolly. Maine State Democratic Delegate in 1988 for Jesse Jackson & in for 2004 John Kerry. I wanted Hillary to be our candidate in 2008 - but Obama is fine with me. Bottom line: we need Obama in the White House in order to start a new 'ERA' in order to correct the past 8 year 'ERROR' - the shameful era/error that was Bush & his minions.
