Bio
Kirsten is a single mother of three young daughters, writer, artist, and involved with the Heaf and Hard of hearing communities. She is also desperately trying to keep up with her deaf four year old's ability to learn sign language. A Canadian who has long admired the American way of life, she is growing increasingly disappointed with not only with the government there, but at home as well. She is a staunch liberal who is unafraid of the word. Kirsten is currently working on her first novel, and has a blog, What Would Voltaire Do?, at Blogspot. Her heroes are Franklin Roosevelt, Tommy Douglas, Dr. House, and Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. She also does not hate Alec Baldwin, and reads Andrew Sullivan because one must still find someone on the enemy's side to engage in a debate with.
