Born 1953 in London England. Formed political opinions and attitudes very early in my life, in direct opposition to my fathers "preachings".
I saw hatred, fear, spite, racism and intolerance, and realised way back in the 60's that these people were all miserable (as they should be). I wanted to lead a happy life, so threw myself headlong into the growing 70's culture of tolerance and accepted people for their openness while rejecting others for their exclusionary attitudes. If that makes me intolerant, I'll live with it, I've knocked heads with too many wannabe nazi's to feel bad about it.
Joined ANL (Anti Nazi League) in mid-seventies, still have some lumps to prove it (There's some neo-nazi's also carrying some lumps to prove it. I'd like to think the score favours me).
I did plenty of things in my youth (booze, drugs, partying even football hooliganism) to make me ashamed, but I wasn't, and I'm still not. It's just that one day.....I grew up.
I'm married with two kids, a boy and a girl, and two grandkids, also a boy and a girl, all of whom I love with my very being, and am very proud of. I adore my wife who is my soulmate and best friend, as well as my lover, she is the centre of my universe.
I moved to the States, with my wife and kids, in 1990 and now live in Las Vegas. I still butt heads with intolerant *ssholes and will 'til the grave.
With apologies to Bill Clinton and especially Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I feel that Mr. Obama could be the best thing to happen to this country in 100 years. Some may think I'm exaggerating, I don't.
